Don’t throw away the so called “law tag” it’s their way of dodging workmanship and defects!!
The purpose of the law tag is to let the retailer know what’s inside the mattress and the customer as well.
The retailer knows us and which bed they sold us and we have a bill of sale. Which is fine if you buy most anything but a bed. It’s their wiggle room and they use it often!!
For a reference I'm 5'9" and 185 lbs., my husband is 5'7" and 180 lbs. My old hybrid mattress (Englander 21st Century Sleep System) was like sleeping on a cloud, soft on top and supportive underneath. Unfortunately, Englander no longer makes this mattress. This is what I was looking for in a new mattress. I paid approximate $2400 for this mattress and box springs and it is only 3 years old and at the end of its' life-cycle. I removed the box springs and put it directly on out slat platform bed, added a 3 inch latex topper for the last year, and it is still uncomfortable. There is a large hump in the middle of the bed and body impressions on each side where we sleep. Never felt like the mattress did in the store. So disappointed that a mattress costing this much money is so poorly made. My old mattress mentioned above lasted approximately 15 years. The local mattress store (not a big name mattress store) I bought this from no longer carries this line of mattresses, due to the complaints about the mattress. Enough said, buyer beware.

Do not buy any mattress from Sherwood. Have had ours less than a year and when we moved it per the manufacturer instructions it completely fell apart. Our warranty was accepted which does no good because the warranty is actually a $500 dollar shipping charge that gets passed on to you. They are not willing to stand behind their products and take accountability for their defective mattresses, which just goes to show how much faith they have in their products.

This mattress was relatively comfortable until we noticed head seemed low. Has a pillow top and looks like new except for the 4 inch sag in the top corner. Submitted warranty claim but was denied because our bed frame only has 3 horizontal metal supports in it instead of 5. What normal bed frame has 5 supports? Box spring in perfect condition and perfectly level, but put level on our mattress and it definitely sags. Can't get a good night sleep like that.

I thought a $1400 mattress with a 20 year warranty would last. It started out great but just after 4 years I began waking up with back pain. That foam was breaking down. Sherwood did not honor the warranty and denied there was anything wrong.
Don’t waste your money. Can’t think of a worse value for the $.
Worst. Mattress. Ever. After the first night with arms & legs going numb, we thought surely we have been delivered the wrong mattress. Went back to store to confirm. Same mattress in store does not represent what was delivered to our home. In fact, we think we've been hoodwinked. Bait n switch?? All I know is it's like sleeping on a board when we thought we were gonna be on a cloud, and both husband and I now have shoulder, neck, and back pains that affect our entire day after 2 weeks on this thing.
Ever since I got the bed I’ve woken up every hour and a half drenched kn sweat. I thought it was night sweats. Then I slept elsewhere and I realized it’s the bed. I hate this thing. Do not buy one.
Now I know how Frodo felt after waking up in a Rivendell bed
More comfortable than expensive mattresses tested out in other stores, a phenomenal value and super efficient-yet-friendly customer service/sales reps who don't pressure to buy.
I am 260 lb, sleep on a twin bed and love to take naps. Imagine the pressure on this mattress, and yet it's able to support me. It's gotten slightly softer, but I expected much worse. Next time buying the same one in queen size, if I can find it, so far can't find a retailer. Will appreciate help, I live in South Florida.
