Initially comfortable but broke down in middle quickly
Initially a very comfortable mattress. However 3+ years in it is sinking in middle when I lay down. Mattresses are way too expensive to break down this quickly. I am a side sleeper and hip/back are frequently sore when I wake up. Using a pillow to block me from rolling to middle and keep me to the side of the middle in better support. New bed being delivered today to replace it!

For the ridiculous amount of money that was paid for this mattress, I expected it to last for at least 10 years but I noticed that it started to sag after about 6 months. At first I thought that it was just my imagination. But after a year it was very evident that this mattress is definitely sagging. I have had a lot of hip pain. I am a side sleeper. This is the most disappointing mattress that I have ever purchased. I will never buy a Sealy product ever again.
Doesn't feel like the one I paid for..Hip is in extreme pain
I used, for years, the Sealy adjustable mattress and very satisfied but adapters broke and Can Not get replacements. Bought this mattress, Sealy Ellington Plush, and sat and laid on it in the store. Very firm but with a bit of softness just like I wanted ! The one that I ended up with sinks about 8 inches when I sit on it, Weigh 155lbs, and when I lay down my body sinks about 3 inches, Too Much, and causes extreme hip and lower back pain that doesn't ease until bedtime and it all starts over. Very disappointed with my $711. purchase. Called and they want $140. for restocking fee. Plus now, 2 weeks after purchasing, they are on sale for a $150 Less.

Great Mattress If You Can Find One! Sealy McCann Queen
I was going through a tough time working and traveling a lot and found out I slept so well on hotel beds compared to my used bed I bought off my old friend when he moved out of state. It dawned on me that I have never purchased a mattress brand new or bought a mattress designed for me. So I did a lot of research and Sears was having an amazing mattress sale so I made a couple trips to the store and just spent time laying on all the mattresses and came across the McCann model and it was perfect for me. It was on sale in my price range of $800 and had all the features I wanted. I noticed I was sleeping deeper and my demeanor changed in the mornings (still not a morning though). I would highly recommend this mattress if you can find one.

When I called Mattress firm to tell them that it didn’t feel the same as their sample on the floor. The salesperson said that it needed time to be broken it. If I wanted to break it in faster, then I should walk on or roll on it like a rolling pin. It’s been almost fours years and it’s still the worst bed I’ve slept on.

The "extra firm" feels like a medium, sealy didn't care.
Tried the extra firm in store, it felt solid, didn't feel like quicksand. The medium was bearabe for awhile, then I tried for a return. $1000 bed = $300 refund. No bed, get to kep "free" base, that isn't even the right size, "no returns, 3 inches is within acceptable limits".
So I got the firm version, cuz what else am I gonna do what I didn't like any of the mattreses. Be held hostage into an exchange instead of taking my almost full refund, yelling at everyone in the world that matttress firm sucks, and then I would have built a DIY latex or tried online beds, that actually are free returns.
Bed's ok, especialy now that the pillowtop is gone. If you want to have a mattress die quickly, get a pillowtop. I woke up in back pain, I still owe $280 on the mattress so I can't afford a new one.
