body pain in bham

Purchased this horrible mattress ,having explained to sales person concerns about neck and back pain ,after 2 months i have neck, lower back and headache pain, the mattress springs feel as though they are digging into your ribs,we also felt that the mattress was not level regardless of the fact that we tried it on three bed stands, complained to the shop owner who dispatched one of his sales team,he agreed that the mattress had sagged,i then recieved a call from sealy informing me that a technician would arrive to do an inspection ,he blamed everything but hthe mattress ,he blamed the bedstand ,the floor ,as he said it was 5mm out ,i half exspected him to blame the atmospheric conditions,Ifound him to be totally on the side of sealy ( ie the company who were paying him and had no interest or regard to the customer )he completed his assesment and left ,to pass on his findings to sealy.Do not deal with this mattress or this company ,if you value your health or your hard earned money.

2 years old and I sleep in a groove

By the time a year passed, I noticed that I could only spin this $1100 mattress, I didn't get a full two sides to work with. Good thing I sleep alone! Now, at year 2, the spot I sleep in is sinking where my butt is. I am not a large person, size 10, 5'7" tall, and honestly, have no butt to speak of yet I know exactly where it goes when I sleep. I found this website while looking for info on the warranty. Says it's "10 years FULL." So tomorrow I'll call to see just what that means.

Wolfs Sealy Gilwood

This mattress had a good brand name Sealy and seemed to be nice and firm at the store. Took two weeks for delivery "every mattress is made to order for the customer" Began to sense unevenness in the support within a week, by two week it was obvious it had developed 2-3" deep (loaded) 1-1/2" deep unloaded sags inside of two weeks with a pronounced bulge in the middle of the bed. Reported it to the salesperson who was very shocked and concerned, told me they'd have someone come out and inspect it. They called three days later to offer an inspection date three week out... I said no and they made arrangements to see it that week. Their technician was very nice and measured everything and confirmed my complaint in writing. I am now waiting to meet the manager and the Sealy rep tomorrow to negotiate a resolution.

Awfull!!!! Do not buy!

2 Big Trenches formed after 3 weeks and is very uncomfortable after that. Sealy and Mattress Giant will not stand behind their product. Each say the other is to blame so won't even send anyone out to look at it. Have been complaining to them for 6 months. Do Not Buy this Mattress or anything from Sealy or Mattress Giant!

didn't try it first

I wanted a firm mattress for my back, but this is not a firm mattress. I only ordered over the phone with a salesperson, I did mention I needed a firm mattress. Hard to know how something will be like until you spend a whole night on it. maybe if i am feeling better after this rainy weather, I'll find it more comfortable, But I was surprised at how far down I sink into it.

Back Problems after 3 years

We have had this bed for less than 3 years and have the "canyons" that others have in a pillowtop mattress.  I am a back sleeper and have to use a pillow under my hips to get any sleep.  I had never had back pain until we bought this mattress. It has taken sleeping for 2 weeks on an air mattress to convince me that it isn't just getting older--it is this horrible pillowtop mattress causing the problems.  $1000 down the drain.

Fall into the pit

After about a year, it developed a pit in the middle. The box spring is fine, and no matter what I tried, it just got deeper and deeper. Now I have nothing but back and hip problems. I'd find something better. A definite DO NOT BUY. My parents had a Sealy and it lasted them over a decade. I purchased this one on that recommendation. This one lasted less than 2 full years!

Horrible

This is the most horrible bed that I have ever owned. At the time of purchase which has been almost 3 years now, the salesperson on the phone claimed that it was the best bed for pregnancy. I slept on it for the first night and for the last 6 months of my pregnancy I slept on the couch it was so bad. If you don't have back problems, this bed will give you back problems. Now my husband has finally felt the effects and we are getting ready to buy a new mattress and not a sealy!

sagging

Two weeks, only two weeks! And I can feel sagging in the middle. I thought my back and legs were hurting because I wasn't use to the bed. A lie, its starting to sag, the head, foot, and both sides feel great. Im single, but even if I wasn't its to early for this. Oh I paid 800.00 for the set

Worn Out in Waco, Texas

In year three, it really began to break down. I weigh 190 lbs and my wife weighs 110 lbs, but the mattress formed permanent body impressions under both of us and a huge ridge in the center. I'm in my mid 30's and in good physical condition, but I have never woken up with such back pain before in my life!! I've never tossed and turned so much either. When you lay down in this bed, there is hardly any support at all. You might was well be sleeping in a hammock. This bed was worn out in no time! DO NOT BUY THIS BED!!
