Firm and Glorious

We nearly passed on this mattress due to the initial firmness, but since we had a 90 window to return it, we took an opportunity to try it. Traditionally we had a pillow top that had worn after 10 years and offered little support for my aching back. My wife prefers a softer mattress and I a firm one. I was concerned she would not like this at all considering the initial firmness. After a short time lying down however the gel conforms to your body giving unbelievable comfort and the mattress maintains its support. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

Over the top HARD

This is our first King size bed and I like a firm mattress but this is too firm for me and my husband. The matress does not seem to conform to the body at pressure points. We have had a very difficult time sleeping. This matress was bought for our second home and not slept on for a year. The second year we moved in full time and thought we would break it in, but no way. We tried to exchange matress but was refused. I brought a matress topper that cost $300, but still too hard. Is there anyone who would like a very firm matress that is like new! I would like to sell it to someone who likes it. I will even take a loss and sell for $800. That is with box springs included! The matress is not worn and has been enclosed in a thick matter topper.

It sinks in after one week

I’m disgusted, I’ve moved from one side to another , even to the Middle and after one week it sinks in. I’m 5’2 and 165 lbs. I feel that either the cheapest coils are in there or it could be a refurbished mattress that they put new padding on. I woke up this morning feeling like I was being sucked in the middle of this piece of JUNK. I will never by from biglots or a sealy again.

Piece of Crap

Buyer beware! Sealy doesn't back their warranties. They will send you through a bunch of hoops and then deny your claim. This bed has given me nothing but back and hip problems. It sags like crazy.

Mattress developed holes in sleep area within 2 months of purchase as well as the center of the mattress had a big hump in it. Overall sleep was horrible. Woke up hot and sore. The mattress is now 10 months old and we had resorted to flipping the mattress on the bottom side (Euro top so you're not supposed to flip it) in order to get a somewhat decent nights sleep hole free until going and buying a new mattress today. I would never recommend this mattress to anyone.

Terrible mattress!

Extremely uncomfortable body temperature on this bed, very hot to try to sleep on. One side of the mattress has deep depression. Feels like I am sleeping in a ditch!

Well Made and supportavie

The only thing I wish this mattress had was a "sleeping in" rather than "sleeping on" feel. Because I have scoliosis and can not sleep on a to soft sink in type of mattress I chose the Sealy Response Cedar Avenue Plush tight top mattress. I had 6 different Serta iComfort Hybrids and EVERY ONE had to be returned mostly for mfg., defects and inconsistent comfort from mattress to mattress even though they were all the same mattress model. One of them had plastic in the pillow top. I would buy another Sealy in a heartbeat but NEVER, ever a Serta in any model. The Sealy blows Serta away in every way including appearance, comfort and quality manufacturing.

Amazing!!!!

I acquired this mattress when I bought my current home. The seller included some furniture with the purchase and it was still had the manufacturer wrapping on it. It is, hands down, THE most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I would highly recommend this mattress.

Foam portion flattens significantly

I slept alone on this mattress for the first 6 months of ownership and tended to sleep in the center of the bed. The memory foam portion flattened so much that it is now impossible for two people to sleep comfortably on this bed without rolling into the center towards each other. Due to the loss of integrity of the memory foam, this mattress offers very little back support as well. It has been less than 2 years and this mattress does NOT hold up well. I highly recommend not purchasing this product.

Love this mattress, best I've ever had!!
