Really firm... at first

Went with firm-top for my back cause of a few car accidents. It definitely took a few weeks to get use to. That firm top actually needs to get broken in but does ease up. Just enough though, you don't loose any support. I sleep on my back, sides and stomach, depending how I feel. I've been getting less interrupted sleep from not having the shift around as much as I used to on my old mattresses. Sleep's getting a bit deeper each night as I get use to and break in the mattress. Only negative is I haven't noticed the 'cool gel' keeping me any less cooler compare to my old mattress. But maybe that's just me...

Dont do it!

I purchased my first adult bed. Both mattress and box spring. It started getting soft. I figured I was getting used to a fancy bed. Now. It hurts my hips and lower back and is visibly obvious when I'm in the bed ****the problem.*** and how it is handled *** Well the boxspring was shown to be defective and will be replaced But Get a load of this. The mattress shows that the sides and center arent level. But and this is great. Its shy of the 1 inch or whatever defect to be replaced. So My parachute has holes in it but since they arent large enough we wont fix it You can sleep on it and ifWhen it gets worse we may do something about it.maybe. So I have a decision. Keep sleeping on a known deffective mattress and a new box spring they replaced and continue the hip pain or... never waste my money on a Sealy again Hmmm Oh yea ... enjoy the hoops you have to jump thru. And taking a day off work to hear. Yes its defective but not bad enough

Sleeping apart

Sealy usef to be a good brand. Is it just this model? Between the creaking and not getting comfortable I spend more time sleeping apart from my spouse than with him. I finally decided I had to check into the warranty to see if there was anything that could be done but everything people said makes it seem like a nightmare to get help. Trying to decide what the next step will be.

It smells so bad we slept on the living room floor!

I have no idea how it feels to sleep on this mattress. My bedroom door has been closed and exhaust fans are on high in the windows. The toxic chemical smell is overwhelming. I very much want to return this mattress set, but Raymour and Flanagan, where we bought it, has a "no returns, all sales final" policy. Never again.

Terrible warranty and bed, they don't care about customer sa

Sealy makes you jump through hoops hoping you will get discouraged and not continue with your warranty. I wish I would have done my research because I've only had my bed a year and most brands now days over 5 or 10 year comfort guarantee warranties. Sealys is just for defects and it's a long drawer out process that will probably end in them denying it. You also have to pay shipping fees when when they verify its a problem with their product.

Great sleep over

We spent a few nights at the North Star Inn at Corinth, Ky. while on business and just fell in love with the bed. so I called the owner and asked the name of the mattress as I wanted to buy one. as we have never slept on anything so good. she gave us the name brand and now have orderd it for our home. please if you have trouble sleeping then please try this mattress. you wont be sorry. oh the food was good as well. thank you Sealy and North Star Inn. Best Mattress ever

I have lower back problem and used to get sleepless nights, but this one is made for me. this is like medicine, I sleep on it and my back pain goes away :)

Disapppointed expected better from Sealy

Way to soft and sags in the middle at hip location after only 4 years. Will not consider this type of mattress again.
