My wife and I were assisted by Diego Corrales at Denver Mattress co. I was impressed with his knowledge of each bed on site that he had us try out. Loved that he didn't pressure us to buy the most expensive mattress. We were able to purchase the Restore firm Queen and after a week of sleeping on I am convinced it was the best choice for us. My wife and I are getting a better night sleep and have both notice that our aches and pains are less too. Thank you Diego for letting us know about our purple mattress. RENE & OPHELIA

Model 4 Purple is Junk Long-Term

The Purple brand has been a huge disappointment in the long run. My wife and I extensively tested several brands at the store and Purple seemed to edge out Tempur-pedic in terms of comfort and price. The bed was great for the first 6 months or so also. I compared it to sleeping on a waterbed without all the motion, leaks or temperature issues. The bed began sagging where we slept though and now a little over 2 years later is outright painful to sleep in. If we'd bought a junk bed for a few hundred bucks, I'd expect a 2 year lifespan. This was supposed to be a premium brand though, and we certainly paid a premium price for it. For what it's worth, my best guess as to the cause of the problem without dismantling the mattress, is that the springs underneath the actual purple material wore out. The purple material is heavy. The mattress weights a few hundred pounds and I've joked more than once that you could knock somebody out with a purple pillow. The weight of the purple gridwork plus two people is too much for springs that were already designed to allow the mattress to be delivered compressed and rolled up like a burrito. Bottom line, don't waste your money. The bed will feel fabulous at first but will wear out FAR too soon for it's price point. Purple would be better off sticking to seat cushions or mattress toppers in my opinion.

We had owned this bed before a fire trashed our whole house. Then to go for a year on an air bed was tough, never slept as well as on our Purple! Took almost a year to get back in the house and we are so thankful for getting our mattress and actual deep sleep. My back can really tell the difference.

Great Mattress!!!

Prior to getting this mattress, we went through two other mattresses with in an 8 year span. First one was a pillow top and the second one was a regular innerspring. The pillow top ended up being too soft and then lost it's shape with a big dip after a few years. We got the other mattress for more firmness which was nice and first then it started losing it's shape by leaving dips where we laid and creating a hump down the middle. After trying the purple mattresses in store, we fell in love with the original purple 3 which is now the hybrid premier 3 which I believe has been improved. Our 3 has been great these past 7 years without any loss in shape, no dips and looks like new still. Having this great comfort for so long and not having to purchase another mattress is what we love most.

Best mattress I've ever had!

Bought my Purple 3 mattress from Denver Mattress in Lonetree, CO. Steve provided me with an excellent and professional sales experience and guided me through the selection process based on my own sleep habits and preferences. With his help I settled on a Purple 3. Now, after sleeping on this mattress for a few months I'm completely satisfied. The Purple 3 provides me with the perfect combination of support and softness. My shoulder and neck pain have virtually vanished compared to my previous mattress. Additionally, Steve got me a superb deal. I couldn't be happier.

Still have yet to sleep on it straight through like sales said to do. However the smell of the bed from whatever materials it's made from have a strong order and took a little over 6 months to go away, so for little over 6 months no use the bed at all. But my dog sure loves it no matter what.

DO YOUR RESEARCH

The Purple technology is very different. I found it worse than temperpedic in how it is difficult to roll over or change positions. Does not seem like it will hold up very well. The return policy at the mattress store was very expensive.

Dissaponted

Turns out this mattress Lost support just like every other mattress...Great when we first got it, now it’s concave where we sleep. Laying in a hole.... we turn the mattress often but that doesn’t help!!! Very disappointed...I will be sharing this information to family, friends and co-workers🤷🏻‍♀️

Helped heal bruised tailbone

Have owned this mattress for almost two years and it’s my favorite place to be. Slid down some stairs and severely bruised my tailbone leaving me to lay sideways on our old (12 years +) innerspring mattress we improved with memory foam mattress toppers that had indented nicely over the years. A year after the slip down the stairs was still having issues with pain in tailbone area. Friend bought a Purple mattress with the adjustable base. As we had been eyeing the Purple mattress for a while asked if I could try it out. It is different in that you float on top which takes some getting use to after sinking in for so long. She set the adjustable base to the anti-gravity setting which lifts just the legs. It was the first time I had laid on my back and not had pain in my tailbone. It was hard to get up and leave to go home to my own mattress. We bought our mattress, the original with the foam base and purple grid on top in August 2018. We did not purchase the adjustable base but I realized if I tucked a pillow under my knees while laying on my back it gave basically the same results. I honestly contribute the lack of pressure and I’m sure time as being why I finally healed. Keeping cool - I was never one who got hot during sleep neither is my husband. This mattress does not trap heat. I found that I would get too cold during cooler nights as it circulates so weok. We received the stretchy Purple sheets with out mattress purchase and yes you need them or something similar or you do not benefit from the ingenuity of the mattress. I personally have claustrophobic tendencies in not liking to feel trapped, using their matching top sheet did not work for me so I went back to our cotton sateen flat sheets Instead which then gave us another sheet(with the help of sheet clips) to use as a bottom sheet. The mattress is very heavy and holds the purple stretchy flat sheet under its edges as we use it for the bottom sheet. Husband is 6’4” about 200 lbs and is front sleeper to start off the night but rolls during the night
