These beds are absolutely the worst piece of garbage I bought in my life. The ones I had before are 15 years old and still good I keep them for my guests and the Kingsdown which were 5 years old went straight in the garbage. The pillow top that are now being installed on the mattresses is a rip off. It's done on purpose so the mattress will need to be change in the next 5 years if you are lucky. They cannot be flip over therefore useless to flip it from head to toe because your bums are always at the same place thus the fact the it will sag and they will be garbage within the first 5 years. I called Mattress Mart and they send me some twits with a plumb bob to measure the depth and everytime he came to take a measure it was never sagging enough the number kept changing to a higher one. Therefore Kingsdown is junk and Mattress Mart not recommendable

We had a Kingsdown Mattress for several years, it was a delight, but our home burned and we HAD to have another one! I am a heavy person with old joint injuries - this bed supports my weight, but allows painless sleeping.

We spent a lot of money on this mattress. I was in the process of having major knee surgery and knew I’d be in bed a lot. Worst bed I’ve ever owned. I hurt all the time especially my hip and back. I am a side sleeper. I gave up and bought a bed in a box for far less money. I’m sleeping so much better. I track my sleep with a fit bit and the difference is amazing! Save yourself a lot of pain and money.

We used a machine at Baers to selct matterss type. This mattress was said to have been discontinued, and thus less expensive. Now looking for a better mattress. Our prior mattress was 4" of medium density foam topped with a cooling (so-called) topper layed on a solid platform. This on a cruising boat. Totally comfortable.

I wish I was writing a great review as I really wanted to love this mattress. 1st purchase as a single mom, I've had this king mattress/box spring set for 1.5 yrs. Its been the worst mattress I've ever owned and I always pay a lot due to having a bad lower back. It was amazing for about 6 months and then no matter how many times I turned it, the dips toward the edges were terribly uncomfortable (still are) with the middle being very high. So if I want to sleep in the middle of the bed I have to do so diagonally - ugh.
The firmness at first was great but now I feel as though I'm lying in a hammock and its a terrible sleep with major shoulder and lower back pain in the morning.
I just don't even know what to say...I could have saved a lot of money and purchased a different bed that doesn't need a box spring.
But after laying on soo many test beds, this mattress seemed perfect. I was very wrong.
Kingsdown Firm King Mattress need improvement
My recommendation is for consumers to investigate or read the reviews and test the bed before buying the bed.

This king size bed with soft on 1 side & firm on the other side has been a disaster as a high rise developed in the middle. We now have to buy another mattress.
Be warned and stay clear of the My Side mattresses. They reel you in with their gimmick but you end up paying a high price for an extremely sub standard mattress. Unless you enjoy waking up in pain, a pool of sweat and in a hole then don't bother.
