I was initially very excited when my husband surprised me with the new mattress, but after the first year the thread in the mattress began to unravel exposing the inside of my mattress also the mattress has began to break down support wise after only 2 years, we have to repeated flip and turn the mattress because it starts to flatten after a certain amount a time, I know my husband will be buying me another matter but next time we will do a little research before making a purchase because what should have lasted at least 7or 8 years did not make it through 2 years, thank you.
Before you purchase an Eclispe Mattress and foundation check with the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”) of New Jersey you will see Eclispe Of New Jersey Eclispe International has received a “F” rating, the lowest rating the BBB gives to a company. It is my understanding the “F” rating was given to Eclispe because of their lack of response to the BBB and not being able to resolve customer warranty complaints. I have read on-line multiple complaints about the warranty not being honored. I also found out that you are responsible to bring the mattress or foundation back to the company’s North Brunswick, NJ factory to have the mattress or foundation evaluated and repaired if required. This clause within the warranty was not explained by the store at the time we purchased the mattress and foundation. If it had been explained I would not have purchased the mattress and foundation because of the potential cost to bring the defective product to the factory. I should have done more research into the manufacturer prior to purchasing the Eclispe Mattress and Foundation. If I did, I would not have made the purchased and wouldn’t be having to deal with manufacturing and warranty issues today. Within 18 months I have had to make a request to have the foundation replaced 2 times because of defects.
I bought this mattress for my parents guest room 6 years ago. My wife and I have used it for a total of 120 nights. In that time it has lost all support and has deep body impressions. It was supposed to be a firm mattress but provides almost no support. Its a matters that did not last and was no t cheap. Never never never going to buy another eclipse product again. Ever.
I bought this mattress to replace one that was still very comfortable but my late wife passed away on it in her sleep. The first few nights it was sort of stiff and I figured it would settle in. That didn't happen, what did happen was sagging in my body form , my 15+ year old Serta never sagged and was still superior to this junk mattress. I think the only place belongs would be a landfill or one of the $25 a night flophouse motels. I am on a very tight budget but I will have to buy another mattress because I was lied to and swindled by the salesman at Snows furniture in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Spend more if you have to but avoid this brand and this company as they are totally unethical and just not good folks.

Initially I considered the Westin Bed as we slept in one for 10 days and loved it. The Eclipse is waaaay cheaper, an excellent value, wonderfully comfortable with good support and our guests absolutely love it. The spring European top is far superior to only down European tops which crush quickly. Bonus is the green aspect. We tried other Eclipse beds in the store, which were also very good. The European spring top added the extra comfort I wanted.
Purchased this mattress 5 years ago and should have replaced it long before this. I am a man of 200 lbs 5 ft. 11 in. I bought it because I was told it was good for back support. It sinks in the middle and has since the first year I bought it. You are wasting your money if you purchase this mattress.
purchased defective mattress sagging and mjssing a corner support called company.was told by the owner of company to put it on the roof of my car and drive an 1hr 30 mins from ny to nj and they will fix it while i wait and drive back ,can you imagine what kind of company this must be.not to have a truck to come and pic up a defective product and then to be able to fix it while i wait that means there going to take apart the mattress put more stuffing in it and put it back together.do you think simmons or serta would do such a thing they would replace the defective mattress with a brand new one and deliver it to your door.
Do yourself a favor alway purchase a name brand mattress from a store that specializes in mattress.
This bed is comfortable, plush, with firm base to keep spine straight while side sleeping. Organic bed with metal coils and soy based foam at surrounding edge. No movement transfer. Excellent construction. Beautiful fabric. Quality bed at good price = value. Very very happy with it. Showing bed to visitors!
