Short term mattress

This mattress didn't last long at all. I've had it for 4 years and even rotating it every few months didn't prolong the life of the mattress. I can only sleep up to 6 hrs a night and still wake up with bad back pain

lumpy on the sides with a crown in the middle

its difficult to roll over or change positions as depression develop on the side you sleep on, and its hard to roll uphill.

Our second round with comfortpedic and it is aweful!

We purchased our first comfortpedic and within two years the sides sagged. The retailer exchanged it free of charge. Now it's been two years and we are asking for a replacement again. Within a year the mattress started to leave deep inpressions where we sleep. I wake up in pain everyday and never feel "rested" I have contacted our retailer and they are willing to exchange again, but now don't know what to choose. This was very expensive and my husband are both very disappointed. We have thought about buying cheap mattresses and just throwing them away every couple years.

ripoff, worst bed I've ever owned, failed in 90 days

mattress failed within 90 days, has 2 inch deep pocket in it, they replaced it with a new one, that one has a even deeper pocket in it, very large, we've not been able to sleep on it, we are now sleeping in recliners.

Simmons Elkhart Lake - don't waste your money

Within 12 months the mattress has developed squeaks near the corner and rope edges of the mattress. Even worse, it has developed a swag. The sides where I sleep (and I rotate the matress monthly) are sagging. There is a definite bump through the middle of the mattress where I seldom sleep. Never had a mattress fail thus quickly. A technician is coming to the house to asses the mattress next week.

Sunk in

This bed started sinking in after a year. It is very uncomfortable to sleep in. Woke up sore. The spings are not giving enough support. The mattress is uneven on both ends with hump in the middle. The only hump you can get is the hump in the middle.

no support, sides go up when I lie down, I sleep in a "v"

I slept better on my 15 years old Simmons mattress with a plan top a classic innerspring mattress. The Allie mattress was great initially, after the one date had passed the back aches started. They are so painful now, I have problems exiting the bed. Simmons does not consider this a problem nor does Macy's where I purchased this mattress. I expected the same performance I had with the previous Simmons mattress I had for years, was I wrong.

Get this out of my house!

We bought this for our new house right after we got married 3 yrs ago. I have not had a good night's sleep in 3 yrs. I had some back issues before we bought the mattress, and then 6 months later I had pinched nerve in neck, spinal numbness, restless legs, the list goes on. Not sure if bed contributed to my exacerbation, but it sure didn't help. I can go anywhere (even camping) and sleep better. We've been sleeping on an old double bed in our guest room until our new bed arrives. We are trying a latex mattress. Read about what they use to manufacture traditional beds, and you will never want to use one again! Latex is 100% natural. Just make sure you buy the real thing.

Worst mattress ever

the idea of an unflippable mattress is a scam. We rotate it regularly so my grove becomes my wife groove. We are both not heavy people but there is zero support. I had back problems that worsened and my wife developed them.

Great at first but not a ten year investment

With fibromyalgia and joint problems, I need a very plush mattress to avoid pressure points but I still need good enough support to provide proper alignment. I was very hopeful about this mattress and for the first few years it performed very well. Got it in January 2010. I wish it had come with a more stretchy mattress protector because in order to get the conforming softness from the memory foam top I needed to loosen a corner of the protector so my shoulder could dig into the mattress enough. Over the years I have rotated it head to foot and I have switched which side I sleep on which I think prolonged its life significantly. The memory foam top started breaking down and in places I can feel the coils when I lie down. There is a sagging hammock effect which causes hip pain. However the increased indentation is not visible because the top is so puffy. I would be very surprised if anyone had ever gotten their warranty honored because of this. I got maybe three good years from it which for over $2,000 is not worth it to me. I expected it to last for 10 years or be replaced if it developed significant issues. Instead when I inquired about the warranty the person on the phone told me it was highly unlikely that it would be covered unless it had a visibly deep depression. Like deeper than my depression over a wasted two grand plus and wasted sleep and backaches. I decided after waking in pain for more than two years to give up and invest in myself and my health. This time I'm trying online shopping with great return policies. Hoping for luck with the LUXI!
