Lung irritant

Buyer beware, although the website currently tells you only that they use a "natural thistle fire barrier with a bit of polyester", there IS something else in the fire barrier. I started having lung irritation after taking it out of the plastic and this irritation is consistent with my experiences with other mattresses where the fire barrier was an issue. It is NOT off gassing, it's not fumes, it is an odorless irritant and it doesn't go away. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying this mattress. I e-mailed the company and asked if they used something else in their fire barrier. I asked about silica and I was told there "may" be silica in there and that if I was sensitive I shouldn't buy the mattress. Why not disclose this in the first place and avoid this nonsense? I also asked them about borates but recieved no response on that one. No refund, now I can't breath, coughing... Buyers beware, if you're at all sensitive let me give you the warning that the Saatva website does not give you: This mattress may cause lung irritation.

Fantastic night's sleep

These guys are the REAL DEAL., and made in America. From excellent customer service, delivery in less than 18 days (in fact, 11), mattress quality, comfort, and price is fantastic! I threw away a 5 month old serta with a lump all the way down the middle and 5 months of back, neck, and leg pain for the best night's sleep and awoke pain free. That's saying something as I have cervical and lumbar bone spurs.Excellent product is an understatement. Thank you everyone associated with this fine product!

Best in comfort and blissful, pain-free sleep!

Next month is our two-year anniversary of enjoying blissful, pain-free, and uninterrupted sleep on our Saatva mattress. My wife and I have had 60 years each of "testing" mattresses of every type and brand, including our 39 years of marriage. Before I learned about Saatva, I had developed constant back pain, which I thought was permanent. Doctors could offer no hope or relief beyond pain pills and muscle relaxants. But the root of the problem was my "old" mattress, which was less than five years old! We had bought that one because of back pain from the mattress we had before. Buying replacement mattresses every few years had been the unfortunate pattern of my life for 40 years, with no lasting relief from back pain. Within a week of sleeping on our Saatva, all of that pain was gone, and sleepless nights are ancient history. It's the only thing that changed in my routine, so nothing else can explain the tremendous change in my life. It's as if I've acquired a brand-new spine that was never in pain before. We've never owned a mattress like this, regardless of the amount of money we spent on the "famous" brand mattresses. In fact, Saatva mattresses cost far less than the so-called best mattresses from the other major brands, but you can't buy a better night's sleep anywhere at any price. Best bed I have ever owned

I had to replace a 17 year old Kingsdown bed that I had to put a memory foam topper on to make it sleep-able, but even that was failing. It never made its 20 year warranty and new ones are $3000+. I found Saatva through online research and ordered a King luxury firm for its low price and excellent reviews. It comes with a realistic 10 year warranty. Customer service was excellent as was the deliver. The bed has solved all our back pain issues. We will replace the other beds in the house with this one and recommend it to all our friends. It is more comfortable today than the day it was delivered!

Saatva Mattress

Thank you Saatva for offering a high quality mattress with an unbeatable price. We had our popular brand adjustable airbed mattress for six years before deciding it just wasn't worth the thousands of dollars we had paid for it. In retrospect, we probably should have sent it back during the trial period but we kept it. It was either too hard, too soft, sagging or losing air. We were waking up with stiff backs, tossing and turning all night and found it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. We spent several hours researching new mattresses. We were shocked at how much prices had increased in the last six years for top rated mattresses. Truly ridiculous. Well we came upon Saatva. One mattress, three choices of firmness, easy! The price, amazing. We figured the worst case scenario would be that we don't like it, send it back and lose $99. We don't like the mattress, we LOVE it! It is the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. It supports your body in any sleeping position. Truly wonderful. We have only had it for one week however we have been sleeping through the night, waking up refreshed and our backs are not stiff the way they were with our other bed. The bed height is very high. My husband doesn't have an issue but the 5'1" person writing this review likes to take a running start and jump onto the bed. It's fun. I can't speak for just how long the mattress with last before needing to be replaced. Even if we have to replace the Saatva in four or five years, it is still worth it. As long as the quality and customer service stays the same (or gets better), we will be a Saatva customer for many years to come. Thank you, Tracey and David

Awesome Customer Service

I was astonished when the Executive Vice President, Ed Brians, took the time to contact me directly and patiently listened to some concerns I had with my purchase. A Great Mattress and An Outstanding Company

We've needed a mattress for years now, but it became imminent when my husband returned from the hospital thin and frail, could feel every spring in our old mattress and started sleeping on the couch. We couldn't go "test drive" any mattresses. But then, we found Saatva. What a great business model: get a bed delivered to you and try it out for 30 days. This was a godsend for our family. My husband had one more hospital stay. Thanks to Saatva's leadership, customer service and delivery company, there was a new mattress waiting for him upon return. I am eternally grateful to Saatva for their kindness in making this happen and providing my husband comfort, rest and getting him back in bed with me. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Saatva.

2 years in and it feels good as new!

Happy Saatva owners!!! Almost two years in and our mattress is still amazing! No sinking, sagging, creaking or lack in support throughout the night. We have also still not forgotten the excellent customer service from Mr. Brians we received when we purchased and can't wait to fill every bedroom in our future home with Saatva mattresses!

Excellent Company ....

I really appreciate the way this company does business. I kept putting off buying a mattress because it reminds me of shopping for used cars in that you never really know what your getting or if you paid too much... Buying from Saatva was a breeze. BEST. MATTRESS. EVER. PERIOD!

Spent a weekend mattress testing, initially tried a Kluft $7-8000. mattress, it felt great and we decided that this was going to be our comparison bed. Nothing else compared, and at end of second day went online and somehow the Saatva website jumped out at me. An affordable, well made, well warranted matters made in the USA? It certainly got my attention, I made the initial call late on a Sunday night. I spoke with the rep, I was advised to sleep on all the facts before making a decision. I was almost sold at this point, but took the night to think it over. As usual, I woke up stiff and immediately called Saatva and ordered the flagship LUXURY FIRM mattress. We had our new bed in four days, within the time period given. I could tell the difference after the first night, it took my wife three nights (we were advised a break in period could take up to a week). We wake refreshed and alert, no more lower back pain. As much as I hate getting out of our new mattress, I am able to get up feeling great! I haven't felt this good since my back surgery in 1997. Our next mattress will also be a Saatva!
