DON'T Fall for the home show pitch!!!

I am usually one who does not make impulse purchases, especially $5000 ones. We saw this mattress at a home store and it felt great. Looking back, I now know why the salesman never lets you stay in one position for very long...always changing the base to different settings. They push the zero gravity setting...and that is one of the things that sold us. We were told sleeping in that position would alleviate back pain, blah, blah, blah. At the show, when he put the bed in that position, it felt great...but again, he didn't leave it in that position for more than a couple of minutes. The problem is, when you stay in that position for too long, it puts stress on your neck, and eventually your back as well. Just doesn't work. The biggest issue I have with this company is the blatant fraud. The sales rep told us that we didn't have to make a payment for a year, no interest, and if that we were unsatisfied we could get a refund and they would come get the mattress. So, after a couple of months and realizing the mistake, I emailed the company that I'd like a refund. The President of the company replied and said that is not the policy, instead the guarantee stated they would try to tweak the product to better suit our needs. The problem is, it is not really the mattress...we have no need for the adjustable base. Also, without the adjustable base, I would only get a regular king, not a split king. There are MANY mattresses out there for $1000 or less that are equivalent to this product. The guy at the showroom offered to sell us a queen in the same mattress without the adjustable base for $500!!! I replied to the president's email that the ONLY reason I agreed to purchase that day (of course if not I wouldn't be guaranteed that price) is because I was assured by the salesman that I could get a full refund if unsatisfied. I have yet to receive another reply from the company. Every time I get in this bed I am aggravated because I feel like I was duped. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Heavenly sleep

This mattress is AWESOME! We've been looking at this bed and adjustable base for two years. My husband tried it out at a home show and told me I had to try it. As soon as I laid down and they adjusted it to 0 gravity it improved my breathing cleared my sinuses( no kidding) it was like all the pressure on my chest went away and allowed me to breathe. The mattresses are an investment ( I slept on the same mattress from 3yrs to 19 yrs old) but, worth it. We chose Paradise because I prefer a bit more firmness and a single vs split. It fit perfectly in our queen size sleigh bed! I no longer suffer from neck and shoulder pain and when my husband snores there's a anti snore button that elevates his head! I highly recommend this bed for anyone with neck or back issues, swelling in the extremities, or just needs a good night sleep. We are an active couple in our thirties

REM Paradise is truly paradise

This bed was a lifesaver when my husband herniated his back. The ability to raise the feet was the only way he was able to sleep. Without it he would have suffered excruciating pain and would have to sleep on the floor with his legs propped up with numerous pillows. This bed was well worth the money!

Healing Bed

We LOVE this bed! I do call it/refer to it as the "healing bed". When we travel we say we can't wait to get back to the healing bed. I was actually having to go to a chiropractor for lower back pain that even with those treatments, couldn't get rid of the pain. I researched the internet thoroughly when looking for a new bed. We found the REM bed and I was so impressed with the reviews. Coincidentally a trade show with the REM bed was coming to town at the same time we were looking for a new bed. We went to the show and were very happy with all that we heard from John, who was very knowledgeable. We felt that it was a great value and were very happy with the package deal that we got at the show. We loved the bed from the beginning. However, my athletic husband found that for him it slept hot. We called the company and were given incredible support. They did a great job at finding a solution for us. Randy, the president, even gave us his cell phone number and called us on the weekend to get things resolved for us. We now LOVE everything about the bed! We can't say enough good things about REM, the company, and the president Randy. We are extremely happy with this bed and the support we have received from REM Bed.

The Best Mattress Ever

Just got our new mattress delivered Saturday. We bought it at the Philly Home Show. Trish was the best, most knowledgable mattress salesperson I have ever experienced. We were a little skeptical about a memory foam mattress. But I have to say, I can not tell you the last time I have slept so well and woken up completely refreshed and pain free. This is a fantastic company with a product superior to any other we tried, including tempurpedic. The call from the president of the company thanking us for our purchase was the icing on the cake. We got the Paradise Split King. We are so glad that Trish got us to try this mattress. The warranty is the best on the market. We got the fully adjustable and massaging. The delivery went off without a hitch. Our Bernese Mountain Dog loves the bed almost as much as we do. if anyone is considering a new bed, it would recommend REM 100%!!!!! Thank you REM Sleep Solutions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the best sleep ever

We wanted the most natural and supportive mattress available. We actually preferred the REM over the organic selections. It has been a pure pleasure to sleep on it every night. We have the best sleep experience we've ever had. It feels very "natural and supportive". It's been the best purchase we've ever made, well worth the price. Don't hesitate to become a REM owner!

My wife and I bought this bed at the OC fair. We were in the market for a new bed but, did not expect to run into Mike Grimes and Johnny Walker, two of the best salesmen I have run into in my years... Honest, not pushy and willing to work to sell a product that needs no help -Great Bed!!! Both The manufacturer REM and the distributor WestBay are very service oriented, they were wonderful to deal with. The salesman worked to match our budget to the product we wanted at a great price.. the delivery people were wonderful , I can not say enough we just love the bed, it is so comfortable! I have also noticed less sciatica pain from a back injury that required surgery in 2003 and my pregnant wife has been enjoying the extra space and bed rest will be easier.

Fine memory mattress

After trying out probably a couple dozen different mattresses of different styles in 3 stores, we knew we wanted a memory foam mattress, of which Tempur-Pedic of course is the best known. The last store we were at had just got in the Paradise model of REM Sleep Solutions. We liked it, it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than a similar T-P model, so we bought this. We've had it only 3 nights. It still had a slight chemical smell which is most noticeable when the foam is compressed and released, for instance, when you turn over. It's not offensive to me but definitely there. Also, I think I sleep a bit warmer than on our old coil-spring mattress, a trait often said of memory foam mattresses. Of course it's very superior to our old mattress, but that doesn't mean much: any new mattress would have been better. We like the memory foam feel and lack of springiness as compared to coil-springs or full latex. This model seems to have an intermediate firmness; when trying the various T-P models we also liked an intermediate firmness. Only time will tell its durability and how we like it, but for now, we're pleased with this purchase and recommend it...at least, if you can, compare it with the better-known Tempur-Pedics. Note: this site requires rating the durability, which is impossible after only 3 days! So I gave it 4 stars but that should be ignored.

AMAZING GRACE!

It took a month or so to adjust to the new mattress, but wouldn't buy anything else! Absolutley amazing! Look forward to getting into my bed every night! We get the best night sleep we ever had in the Paradise. My husband gets up at 3am and now I don't have to feel him get out of bed or feel him as he sits at the foot of the bed to get his shoes on...etc Love this bed. Will have one for life. Want my guests to be comfortable as well so all guest bedrooms have slowly been changed to a Paradise. Thank you REM for giving me my own Paradise every day!

Absolutely Thrilled!

Our friends bought their bed at a county fair. They were so happy with it, I called REM Sleep Solutions and spoke with Kathy Moyer, who explained how the bed works and all of the available options. I mentioned that I lived out of state and had some special delivery requirements. I was very impressed when the president of the company, Randy Maddix, called me back a few minutes later. We worked out the details quickly and I ended up buying the bed during that call. REM even delivered the bed ahead of schedule. When I called to thank Randy for the great service, he asked if there was anything else he could do to make the experience even better, I asked if he had softer pillows. Shortly thereafter, I received a tracking number from Nico Colin, REM's Shipping Manager, stating that softer pillows had already been shipped. The Zero Gravity setting is great! I wake up feeling more rested. My wife says that overnight my snoring has gone from horrible to hardly noticeable. The entire process has been great.
