Not for back sufferers

Husband and I have had this mattress 2 years. We are shopping for a new mattress because this one leaves us in pain every morning. We purposely looked to see what kind it was so we didn't buy the same brand again. If my husbands blinks in his sleep....I feel it. I can't sleep without covers so we have to put the A/C on "artic" setting and the ceiling fan on high because we get so hot. For the price it was a decent mattress but if you are looking to keep it longer than 2 years you may want to go with something else.

Yes, the RIght Mattress Makes a Difference...Bigly!

I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I slept over at a friend's house...she had a Serta Perfect Sleeper, and it was an epiphany in the morning. I went to sleep without tossing and turning and woke up supported and pain-free in my shoulders, back and neck. I went and bought one the next day...actually, I was offered a furniture-store floor model that was not even a year old. The FIRM model has the denser gel foam and the same number of wrapped coil springs. The coil springs make the difference in movement isolation if you sleep with another person or a dog, or both. Nice durable fabric cover, as well

Caves in beneith you

I only weigh 115 pounds and am the only one who has or does sleep on this bed and when I am on it, I sink in a bowl. Hard to get out of and laying flat on my back is the only possible way and it's a killer.

Great for a year, lumpy after that

I have owned this mattress for over three years; my wife and I are height weight proportional and in good shape. Took at least 6 months to break in and then seemed like a great bed. Unfortunately after that it continued to break in more and developed indentations and a hump in the middle appeared. The base support of this mattress seems great, no squeaks and minimal motion transfer, but the top comfort layer is very poor quality and this bed needs to be replaced. I'm basically done with Serta, Simmons, and Sealy. In my opinion these "traditional" mattress companies business model is to milk their existing brand appeal until the newer companies and business models eat them up. Selling a quality product is not part of their plan.

best so far out of all mattresses

I tried the cool memory foam mattress, Great except after 2 mo of using it I began a sever allergy to it, Appears there are a lot of different chemicals in these foams. My dog even had two seizures which she never had before, can't confirm the mattress did it, however quite coincidental timing never had them before. Online lots of gel foam complaints.

Gave this bed a try, very satisfied

I was impressed with the support but comfort at the same time. Slightly worried about heat distribution, but after about 10 minutes in the bed, heat starts dispersing and not a factor. I love this mattress, I wake up feeling rested and without the aches and pain I used to have. With a partner, virtually no disturbance when getting up during the night. I am a side sleeper and very happy at the comfort level experienced.

Great if you like sleeping in a bowl

A month after buying this mattress, I was having to grab the edge and pull myself out of the bowl. My cat had clawed the mattress in one spot, so Macy's wouldn't take it back. If the mattress stayed how it is when I first lay on it, it would be fine. But as it warms up, the middle caves in. It got to where I dreaded going to bed, but I paid a lot for the mattress and it was new. I put two camping mats on top of the mattress, then a topper, then a mattress pad, that kept enough body heat off it to make it bearable. Finally got a 2" latex topper and now I have to use a step stool to get in bed, but at least it's comfortable enough to sleep and not wake up hurting.
