Great for the short term, but NOT durable, TERRIBLE Warranty

Initially the mattress was great and comfortable, after about 18 months the body depressions on the mattress developed. This occurred on both my side (250 lbs) and my wifes side (140 lbs). The body depressions became so bad that I developed back pain from it. At about the 3 year mark we contact Simmons for the warranty, after review they claimed that the warranty is void due to a hot chocolate stain near the foot of the bed. They also claimed that the bod depressions were not bad enough, I guess sleeping in a valley is normal for Simmons. After this experience, I can assure you that we will never purchase anoth Seely-Simmons mattress and will advise friends and family against it.

horrible bed and horrible warranty

i got this bed in april 2015 and by august 2015 the bed was sinking in the middle and could not get any sleep i went through the process of the warranty but since its a pillow top you cant tell its sinking in the middle with pictures now its 2018 and the bed is so horrible to sleep on i literally have to sleep on the very edge of the bed cause its the only spot that doesnt kill as much, it was such a waste of money. p.s i bought this bed at sleepys

Horrible mattress

It sagged from the first day we got it. It was very different from my old mattress so I thought it was just taking some time to get used to it. I never felt refreshed upon waking. After a few months I started feeling pain in my back and hips. At first I thought it was some type of injury. I had some physical therapy which helped a little but when the therapy stopped the pain and tingling in my legs returned. I finally reached the point about six months ago that I wasn't sleeping through the night. I would wake up two to three times a night and try to find a comfortable position which was impossible. The sagging was getting much worse and I was in pain by the morning. I was so disgusted I went out and purchased another mattress even though this one was only 3 years old. Thankfully I am sleeping like a baby and wake up with no pain or fatigue.

Firm pillow top feels like feather pillows

I have a bad back and bought a firm luxury pillowtop with the urging of the Macy’s employee. I should have known better. I previously had a Serta posturpedic for 10yrs and was moving and thought I should get a new mattress even though nothing was wrong with it. I’ve had this mattress 2yrs now and 8mos ago i started waking up with back, neck and shoulder pain. My mother came to visit, slept in the bed and said it was time for a new mattress because it was sunken. The luxury firm pillowtop feels like I’m sleeping on a feather bed/pillow and sinks in like a hammock. I can’t wait to get rid of this and hope Macy’s will let me switch for another manufacturer

Highly recommend

I love this mattress. I have a sensitive back, but have not had any issues with this mattress, and I've had it for over two years. I usually sleep on my back, on my side, and on my stomach. As I'm typing this I am 9 months pregnant and i still sleep like a baby on this mattress - no tossing and turning, no back pain, etc. It also works well with an adjustable base, I found that having my head slightly raised helps with my stuffy nose.

NOT firm and collapses

I’ve had this mattress for less than 2 years and the pillow top feels like im sleeping on a hammock. I wake up I’m constant neck/back pain and toss all night. When my Mother visited and slept in my bed, she said my mattress was old and needed to be replaced. When I told her that This was a new mattress And my 10yr Old Sealy was given to my stepdaughter 2 years ago, she couldn’t believe it. My daughter still has my Sealy-which is now 12yrs Old, and it’s more comfortable than this two year old Simmons. The Sealy was also a firm pillow top. Never buy a Simmons mattress unless sleeping on a $1200 hammock is for you.

Stinks that it sinks

This mattress was fine for a while and then it’s like a valley on each side with a mountain in the middle. We stood the mattress up to move our bed and it almost completely folded and buckled. You feel as though you are sleeping in a hole and you’re rolling uphill if you roll tonthe middle. I would never buy Simmons again since this bed has not lasted. Now will discard and have to purchase new.

I suffer from shoulder pain sisnce I have this mattress

I wanted to buy a firm mattress with a pillowtop for support, and plush comfort. This bed is hard like a rock. It also makes noises when I turn. Feels and sounds like the pillowtop filled with straw. I purchased this mattress 2 years ago because of the pocketed coil technology. So when my hubby gets up in the morning or turns, I won’t wake up. For that, this bed works perfectly. Recently I had to purchase a 4 in mattress topper for comfort. Since I’m sleeping on this bed, my shoulders are killing me. Can’t reach behind my back without wining. I can’t reach behind my back period. Can’t lift up my arms high up. I never had this problem before. I don’t recommend this mattress to anyone unless you only sleeping on your back or stomach. Definitely not for side sleepers.
