when we were looking for a mattress we decided on the best available: soft pillowtop but medium firm body. so we chose Beautyrest Hotel 5 Diamond CT.
it was great for several months. Then it started compressing in the sleeping position. After 2 years it felt like sleeping in a ditch. Testing compression deflection across the width, it is firm in the center and soft where we sleep. Now we get back and shoulder pains.

My wife and I slept well and never had a sore back on her previous mattress but replaced it after 20 years because of the springs started to fall apart. Purchase this beautyrest Hotel 4 mattress a a year ago and both of us are suffering back pain. His back pain goes away when sleeping on a straight foam mattress at the cottage or in my travel trailer.

This bed began to sink in spots and rise in others within the first year of use. The euro -top has shifted to almost flat on one side and hanging over on the other. There is a dent created where I sleep that my body rolls into regardless of how hard I try to stay away from it. I toss and turn all night from the inability to get comfortable and the pain it creates in my hips and legs. Awful Awful mattress!!!! Wouldn't recommend this one to my worst enemy.

I’ve had several Beautyrest mattresses in the past 20 years and this is not like a Beautyrest. It is horrific. There is a cheap foam feel to it and it smells! It’s the foam.
It is hard despite being their “plush” model. It’s a nightmare.

Bought this from beautyrest guest program because of hard-to-find flippability feature. Have had decades of beautyrests for our large family bought through Macy's, and for the most part they were fine.
This surface is so uneven as to be unsleepable, even before the sagging and edge collapse. Extra toppers etc. do nothing to even it out. Even flipped it, thinking that the underside might be flatter than the exposed side. Nope.
Despite months of trying for a resolution with beautyrest, sending them phtos, credit card bill, mattress tags etc., they refuse to assist, telling me I haven't presented them with the "don't remove under penalty of law" tag, which like pillow tags, upholstery tags etc., no consumer who doesn't want their skin to scratch or sheets to tear, would leave on.
What would you do in this case?

We bought our first Hotel 3 mattress in September.. by March the side wall on my husband's side was completely broken and warped.. We put in a claim with warranty, which was reviewed and accepted and our new mattress came 2 weeks later.. when the delivery drivers came to switch the old with the new, he informed me this was a common problem with these mattresses.. While delivering the same mattress.. low and behold, 2 months later, the new one is even more broken and warped than the first!
My husband is 6 foot 3 and 280lbs, but slept on our other mattress for 13 years without anything like this happening.. Completely ridiculous.

I did not order this soft mattress.It was a replacement for the original purchase as the delivery man sliced the pillowtop.When I went back to the Brick to complain it was too soft and not what I ordered their response was it is the 2020 model with no changes and you have already switched mattresses once.That was because they cut the pillowtop in two places.Also warranty not valid as I removed a tag on the mattress that gave me a paper cut.If you stand on the mattress you would almost sink to the floor.Forget about sitting on it to put your socks on.Also is starting to say after 5 months.Stay away from Beautyrest Hotel 4 from Simmons.

Biggest ripoff. The Brick is the worst company to deal with after up selling all the other shit to make sure the warranty is good on it. Then want you to jump through hoops to use the warranty. The mattress is like rolling hills.

Cannot help but roll into middle of bed if sleeping on side.
Wasnt even year old and put in claim for warranty because middle of bed has huge divet and no support. Hard not to roll into middle of bed when trying to fall asleep
