pathetic experience sleepys gepps cross

dont buy from em, dont believe the reviews..BUYER BEWARE , so this started when i rang sleepys moore park and spoke to an indian by mistake as was wrong store.google directory sux, then went here and it went pear shape went in on busiest day, carppark full of people, 1 hr in store, there was only me and another customer, prob why hadnt heard of sleepys before i went in..put a deposoit down with the saleskids, didnt even mention needed 2buy waterproof mattress protector either, i told em i want made to order brand new with manufacture date end of dec or early jan, 3 times the kids told me yes you will get that..they deliver it without me paying whole amount??incompetance? then threaten me saying will pick up the mattress if u dont pay? such great australian service, mattress had manufacture date 3 months old and edge support was popping out and had sag feel, i asked em and they said its brand new never used, i highly doubt that since the customer service was pretty pathetic and didnt like the arrogance of the kids attitude, it was closing time also and they said you either pay now or come backtomorrow so i paid, i have a mild disability and i feel they took advantage of me. i asked for refund saying i barely slept on it and still in wrapping they said nope cant do anything i showed em evidence, now i rang every sleepys store to get ideas, sleepys in 60 days you can return the used mattress long as has waterproof protector..how gross, very unhygienic would you want someone sleeping on your brand new mattress, they have to discount these beds and floor stock and write it on invoice, now these kids sold brand new bed which i thought was getting not one manufactured 3 months and took em1 month to deliver. i rang sleepmaker and they go we make to order we dont hold stock we give it to the retail stores..so now what happened i believ gepps did an order at sleepmaker for amattress and either it arrived day before my delivery and they gave me a back of store mattress or hell maybe was a comforty exchange guarentree matt

Sits very soft but distributes weight nicely lying down.

I bought this bed from a friend when it was less than a year old to use in my guestroom. Although it had not had a lot of consistent use, all of my guests have all reported that it was comfortable (ages range from early 20’s to mid 40’s and 2 different grandparents in their 70’s/80’s) The older folks said it was a bit soft but not too bad once sleeping. The softness is much more pronounced when sitting on it, so can make getting out more difficult if you are older. I slept on it for 2 weeks when I was quarantined with Covid. I’ve had 2 hip replacements and need a lot of support and good weight distribution to sleep in my side without pain. Although I still favor my firm Tempurpedic mattress, but was surprisingly quite comfortable sleeping on this mattress for that time. Recommend this bed for sleeping but if you sit up in bed to watch TV or read for long periods, I would move on.

It was good while it last

Not a bad mattress, however my 175 lb. (I'm 5'5") made it unusable in less then 5 years. My wife is 110 lb, and the same mattress still good for her. Conclusion: If you light, this mattress might work for you, for a heavier person, look somewhere else.

Worst Mattress of All Time

This was the worst mattress I’ve ever had. Period. I had this mattress for 5 years and since the day it was delivered it’s been absolutely terrible. Stiff, squeaky, zero support. This mattress literally has nothing good about it. Finally getting rid if it and never buying a Sleepy’s ever again. Terrible brand.

Mattress Sagging Sides and Center within 6 months!

Purchased this mattress from MF. Within five months of nightly sleep (single person) the mattress developed a huge indent crater the length of my body form! Sides broken down. Tracked sleep quality diminished over time of ownership of this mattress compared to my traditional mattress. Turned mattress and now have a high hill, with a downward slop into to the cratered area. Must be replaced! Do not purchase - unless for small children perhaps.

Terrible terrible mattress

This mattress is not worth your money, after a little more of 3 months of use, our mattress is rock solid firm, even when we chose the “medium”, we bought this at mattress firm, and the one they had to show was soft as a cloud, but it’s a scam! Our mattress is nothing like it, it sinks very badly as well. We are defiantly looking for another mattress as we have back pains and can’t sleep on it.

Enjoying Euro Foam Top - Good Bargain Mattress Overall!

I am really enjoying the Euro foam top and edging - I've had mattress almost two months. Ordering online, I am happy I chose the Euro 9 over plain or pillow-top options. The Euro foam cover gives nice feed-back and finishing. As foam mattress get smushy and cave-in faster then coil I am glad I opted for this firmer-type of foam mattress. It is not too firm, and I am noting some sinking in the middle but ok for the price as the ‘layered’ foam support overall is good as I use this full size mattress. I am thinking I will need to rotate mattress within the next six months, and I doubt I will get the life (fifth-teen+ years former coil mattress). Glad I purchased this NON-boxed-rolled mattress option arriving flat and ready to use. I miss the firmer side-support you have with traditional steel coil, but like the over-all response and hug of this foam mattress (especially as I am a side sleeper). I would not recommend if you are over 250 pounds or sharing bed. I placed my Calm 9 Euro Top onto a traditional average height box frame used with previous spring mattress. So height is lacking. I purchased a full mattress size, but in reality the Sleepy's Calm ends up (I measure with a tape measurer) being about 8.5 inches tall (not nine inches high) and about an inch and a half narrower than a traditional full. It seems all foam mattresses shave off inches. Others report that the mattress does not stay in place upon the foundations they are using. I have had no problem. For the price (was able to apply two coupons) I am happy with my purchase.

Mattress is suitable for the price I did pay but I have no way to turn it since it has no handles on the sides as my other mattresses have. Is this a warranty issue?????
