If you want firm...

I bought a highly rated memory foam (best reviewed last 5 years) mattress, slept on it for two months. HATED it. Returned it. I need a firm mattress for support on my back. This one is very firm, almost too firm but if you compare the one in the store that everyone lays on it is softer. I wanted firm and this one will continue to be firm for a long time. I will review again in a year,

Choose something Else

Every hotel mattress we have slept on has been better than this. There are several dips in this mattress. I am extremely disappointed. Every morning I wake up with aches and pains that are exacerbated by this mattress.

Within a few months I could tell we had made a mistake.

I spend all night pulling myself more to the side, seeking firmness and coolness. I can't get comfortable. The cats like this bed, however, due to its ability to hold heat.

Great in the beginning

The first five or six years this was an outstanding mattress. It was new to the market in March, 2008. The foam has formed valleys which make the mattress a constant challenge. Understand Sealy requires a one inch depression in a foam mattress for warranty. Not quite there. Was told a year ago by a leading mattress firm store that promotes Sealy that they had issues with several of their early foam mattresses. Appears as though this is one of them. Unfortunately I have paid for their learning experience.

The more I sleep on it the worse it gets!

I hate this mattress. I feel worn out due to the tossing and turning. You literally have to make effort to be able to get out of this brokedown mattress. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Saggy and Lumpy

The original plush mattress set was purchased in 2010 from Haverty's in Baton Rouge, LA, in 2011 it had to be replaced because of sagging and creping noise, we were asked to spend an additional $100.00 because they had been discontinued, wasn't very happy about that, in 2013 that set has to be replace for the same thing, but we learned better about the additional money,in November 2015 the same occurred and that set had to be replaced, store tries to make it difficult again because that set had been discontinued and of course they wanted to charge more for the same quality or go down in price and quality, we refused, got satisfaction from Haverty's headquarters. So I changed to firm thinking there were something wrong with the plush mattresses. It hasn't been 4 months good and the same has occurred with the firm set and we're waking up with very sore bodies. We'll se how this goes. Sealy mattresses just aren't any good.

Worst mattress ever!

This "Firm" mattress is like sleeping on a hammock after less than a month. I am constantly rolling to my partner who weighs only 140 lbs... Ridiculous!

Worst purchase ever. Never buy a Sealy!

We had a great experience at the store. This mattress seemed like a good buy and just what we wanted (firm, pillow top) to replace our 15 year old queen Simmons that we were starting to feel the springs on. After a month, it still felt firmer that the store so we added a 2" memory foam topper (which discolored the top so now the warranty is void). After a few months we noticed there seemed to be a "hill" in the middle of the bed so we rotated it. After a couple months it seemed to get worse. We have now had this mattress over three years and will need to replace it already. The hill is now a mountain and I can't sleep more than 3-4 hours without waking up. It is the worst mattress I have ever slept on and I travel extensively and sleep in many different hotels. I will never buy a Sealy again.

Awful!

This is the worst bed I've ever slept on, and I've slept on an ancient bed with springs poking out of it before. The very first night I slept on this mattress I woke up with back pain. And I've NEVER had back problems before! But I have ever since we purchased it, not to mention shoulder and neck pain. My fiance's back problems got much worse and he has slept on the couch instead for the past year. When I got pregnant with my daughter, this bed caused me to have severe hip problems too, and I never had that with my two previous pregnancies. The pillow top itself is a joke, you can barely even feel it anymore, plus you can't flip this kind of mattress so no help there. We've had this crud for about 3 years now and finally have the money to replace it and I can't wait! It's like being tortured. I've looked this mattress up online and it looks like it's no longer being sold by any site I've found it on. Hopefully they discontinued it for life!
