When I 1st bought this bed, maybe 12 years ago! It was the absolute most comfortable bed I've slept in!! It was that comfortable for about 9 years, which to me, is very impressive. After many years and glorious sleeps on it, the pillow top did deflate quite a bit and I could start to feel the inner springs. So I added 2 toppers. I started with one but ended up with a more firm one, so I added that too. Fast forward to this year, I started to get terrible back pain, more like in my scapula. Honestly it could have been work related, stress, or an underlying issue and not the bed at all! But I started to research mattresses and found a deal for a dreamcloud at a local store for 199.00! So I had to get it. Today I'm giving away that 12 year old mattress to a young man that's just starting out. Honestly, the mattress looks brand new. I've had it in a 360 mattress protector since day one. And in my opinion, it could give some one without pain, many years of great sleep. I do not regret buying this bed at all. If I saw another in a store, I'd buy it again!!

Not sure how anyone can rate this mattress above a 2. It was decent for 6 mo this or so but with a year started getting deep body impressions. Both my wife and I have hip and shoulder pain from sleeping due to the mattress. I’m 5’11” 145 and she’s 5’7” 120. Stay away from this mattress. It feels great in the store but will not last.

Never knew I had back issues until this mattress. Every morning is a stiff and aching back so I am guessing it is to soft for me, which I didn’t think was possible. About a year ago I flipped the mattress over and has been sleeping on the bottom of the mattress. This has solved my back pain but leads to a lot of hip and shoulder pain as I am a side sleeper. This mattress also developed large divots within the first year of use on the pillow top side and now are appearing on the bottom too. Will not buy again.

I’ve had this mattress 3-4 years and paid $2k for it. With the manufacture’s box spring; full bed frame support; and continuous rotations every couple of months - this mattress has developed severe dipping/sagging in the sleeping positions. They began developing shortly after purchase and now they’re unbearable. I’m 6’ tall and 190 lbs. My spouse is 5’6” and 125 lbs. This mattress should have lasted about 10 years before needing replacement. I’m looking at replacing after about four years. Junk mattress - avoid!

Best mattress I’ve ever slept on and I’ve had many varieties. Sorry to hear they are out of business because we got this from family members that were moving and I would of liked to buy several for all our family and spares. I find with good quality cotton sheets I don’t ever get hot. And I would never even buy a pillow top for back problems like some others, I’d use an extra firm mattress or put thick plywood underneath which both helped for me years ago when I messed up my back.
This mattress well exceeded me and my family's expectations we love it, after 6 years of use its finally wearing in, I'm so sad because sadly hamton and rhodes went out of business and I need a new mattress. I want this one again.. :-( if I had known what an amazing mattress this was going to be I would have bought another one an kept it in the box to be able to open brand new and use it again for another 6 years, I tried the dream cloud and I hate it, I already took my old mattress (hampton&rhodes) and put it back on my bed. I WISH WISH WISH I could find this mattress again.. :-(

Way too soft and not much support, started sagging at 2 yrs
This particular matress was a gift from my Mother in law, after I gave birth to our son. With my husband and I, the main sleepers, and our baby would co-sleep sometimes. It was super cloud like at first and went downhill after that. Shortly around 2 years in the middle was sagging drastically. NOT ok when hip pain is a real issue..needless to say I invested in several more pillows as body props to compensate the downfall. (Pun intended).. hope this helps

I think i have found my mattress soulmate. this is the one mattress. even though the designation is not designated "for my sleep type", this is perfect for my sleep needs!
Maybe i never slept as comfortably on my back before, so would try to sleep on my side. this mattress gives me such a comfortable back sleeping position that i feel i can truly rest.
the only downside is i am a warm sleeper. this mattress does not dispel warmth, so it might be better for a long winter nap vs trying to keep cooler during summer slumbers.
