Worst mattress we have ever purchased. We had a similar mattress that was over 10 years old that held it's firmness and is still firm. I would never purchase this mattress and not likely to purchase another mattress from this manufacturer.

I’ve had several Beautyrest mattresses in the past 20 years and this is not like a Beautyrest. It is horrific. There is a cheap foam feel to it and it smells! It’s the foam.
It is hard despite being their “plush” model. It’s a nightmare.

It's been 12 good years with the Simmons Beauty Rest "Atkins Visco Plush" mattress and box springs. Not a pillow top but similar feel. Very comfortable from the beginning. The mattress has begun to sink enough to not support the shoulders and hips. It's been excellent all the years.

I bought a Beautyrest "Black Desiree Firm" mattress with a suggested retail of over $2k. So I thought I was buying quality that would last, It didn't!
I am not a large person. I am height / weight proportionate weighing 165 lbs. So I was very surprised to realize my mattress was sagging in less than 2 years use. And has gotten progressively worse in the past 3 months of run arounds from Simmons' / Beautyrest Warranty department.
When I bought this mattress, the online description boasted a 20 yr. non prorated warranty. From day 1 of contacting the warranty department to exercise a claim, I have experienced a non-accomating process. Nothing short of"stall" tactics. It has now dragged on for 3 months & still no resolve in hand.
To add insult to this process, they 1st told me my mattress only has a 10 year warranty & they go on to explain that a new replacement mattress will only carry the balance of the 10 yr. warranty. After an Independant Inspector came out they admitted that I do have a justified claim, but informed me that my mattress has been discontinued and I would have to identify a suitable replacement. In addition, they have the nerve to tell me that they will only honor a
replacement upto the $1,000 I paid. Any additional would be billed to me!
I pointed out that I bought my mattress on a Special online Promo Sale (as we all know the retails are fictitious). I also noted that their suggested retails had increased by 30-50% in the 2.5 yrs since buying mine.
That said, all I wanted was Like-Kind & quality of construction as to what I had purchased.
They then sent me on a wild goose chase to go identify a replacement product of my liking. (Along with a list of a half dozen of the biggest mattress sellers, NOT to go to). I spent 3 days researching & reading reviews online to identify Like-Kind construction and Firmness levels. And then another 2 days out in the field to find these prospective replacements. Reported back my 1st & 2nd choice and her on the 90th day, still no answer!

I bought the Felicity Pillowtop again. The first one was so good I recommended it to everyone. This one from the start was not as firm. I could feel the bed move when my husband got in at night. The edges were not firm and crushed down when I got out. After two months you could see the indentation where we had slept. What would it be like in five years? The process to make a claim was horrible and in the end they sent an email and said sorry, the pillowtop will have indentions. Of course it would, after many years, not two months. This mattress is a poor substitute for the previous one. I would not recommend it to anyone now.
If you like sleeping in a crater this mattress is for you!
A brief period of time after buying this mattress it developed two significant depressions where my spouse and I sleep on our respective sides. You can literally roll into the depressions on either side, from the centre of the mattress (which has retained its original density). We had a Kingsdown mattress before this, and decided to try the Simmons Brand as our salesperson told us this mattress was 'Much better quality' than our Kingsdown. Not the case. Our Kingsdown was still comfortable, with a consistent surface and no body depressions/indentations in it after over 10 years of ownership. This piece of garbage we bought from The Brick after 3 years has given us many sleepless/restless nights. We are unable to actually sleep side by side, due to the fact we roll into seperate sides of the bed. Neither my partner or I are overweight, so the cause of this is not due to too much weight on the bed. And trying to figure out how to actually process a claim on Simmons' warranty induces anger at the incideous process one has to go through to elicit and sort of reply from the company itself! Avoid this mattress like the restless, sleepless, plague inducing waste of money it is! We will be shopping for a new mattress in the very near future!

The worst nightmare of a bed. NOT even close to World Class
this is an absolutely horrible bed and the worst possible purchase. I see that this model is discontinued and I know exactly why. We tried this mattress out in the store and it was wonderfully soft yet firm for my husbands back problem. The salesman said that the new bed would be firmer than the floor model but it would soften over time. Our nightmare started the very first night. The bed was very firm with large divots that you could lose you hand or heel in. The whole bed is lumpy. Giving it time to soften I waited past the time I could return. What a mistake. After 1 year the bed started sagging in the areas where my husband and I slept and a large ridge formed in the middle between us. To say good night I have to climb out of the divot and climb over the hump. My husband is an average size man and when he lies in the bed he is a good 6 inches in a hole. We both wake up in horrible pain. His back problem is worse and I now have back pain when I never had before. When I try to fall asleep, I have such a hard time. My rib cage hurts and my hips and buttocks' are in a hole. I feel totally ripped off. The last mattress we had lasted 14 years and was in better shape then this one when we got rid of it, it was a Serta. I don't understand why a company would make such a horrible product and call it World Class. I just want my money back, but I have read online that Simmons has horrible customer service and will do anything NOT to honor the warranty. So here I am 3 years in to my nightmare and unable to sleep so I am writing this review. I will never buy a Simmons mattress ever again. And now we are going to have to pay to have this thrown in the dump. I am a Registered Nurse and my husband is a small business owner. We cannot understand why this company would rip off honest people.

Only about year and half old and started sinking in where each person slept. Very obvious to the eye even with Comforter on the bed.
Did all that was necessary in filing a Warranty Claim including having an Inspection done in my home.
My claim was denied reason being the BoxSpring.
When purchasing the Resonance Mattress from Mattress Firm I was asked if needed a BoxSpring. Told Salesperson that we already had one.
He did not pressure me into purchasing one.
Was informed about the 10 Year Warranty which I assumed was from
Mattress Firm.
After the filing of my Claim received emails from Mattress Firm regarding the Warranty. It is directly from company who made the Mattress.
Something new to me.
Trying to talk to an actual person at Mattress Firm regarding Warranty is just about impossible. I never succeeded.
Even tried the Chat a few times and was unsuccessful.
Easy to speak with someone if purchasing a product.
Seems I am stuck with the defective Resonance Mattress. Less than 2 years old….out $1500 too.

I have absolutely hated this expensive bed after giving birth. It’s waaaay too soft for me and aggravates my back pain. When I wake up and sleep on the bed, it makes me not happy. I choose to sleep in the living room on the couch because it the firmness of the couch.

For purchasing this mattress, I had issues sleeping on a old-school cold mattress. I had a back injury and could never find comfort in sleeping. No matter how many pillows are used I couldn’t find a way to wake up the next day without pain. I sleep so good on this mattress and highly recommend it to anyone that has a previous back injury, is the best investment you’ll ever make as an adult.
