I am ecstatic about this mattress, hard to get out of bed...

I am ecstatic about this mattress, hard to get out of bed because I lay there marveling at how wonderful it is! The level of support underneath is fantastic... then topped off with just the right amount of soft cushioning... like sleeping on a cloud! (but not too much pillow top that swallows you) No moving around trying to get comfortable, can fall asleep instantly... the only reason it's taken maybe a bit longer to fall asleep is because I want to savor the wonderful feeling of complete comfort, and wallow in it. This mattress has changed my life in a great way!!!

Like sleeping in a hammock

This mattress felt wonderful in the store but within 1 year had completely broken down as far as support. This is the worst mattress I have ever owned and was one of the worst investments I have ever made. Permanent valleys quickly developed where we sleep, with a ridge in the middle. Getting rid of it. I travel quite a bit and usually sleep fine on the road, only to wake up with a tight back at home. I will NEVER buy this brand again! High price, poor performance.

An Oldie but a Goodie

16 years and it is time to put this old mattress out to rest (pardon the pun) I have loved this mattress, so many times curling up in my bed and enjoying the feel of luxury. But it has developed a "divit" and it is time to go the the hunt for something new. I only hope the new model will give me as much comfort as this mattress has.

Most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on.

Immediately upon buying, it had 1 1/2" deep hammock on either side of the King bed . The only place there is any support is down the middle. Ridiculous to be charged $1000 for a bed of this low quality, never having a comfortable night's sleep in it. I travel a lot and no motel room has this poor of a mattress.

Like sleeping in a bowl

Mattress started out great but it definetily has cupped in the middle I'm 180 lbs wife is 130 and keep finding myself on her side, it seems well made but does hurt the back because of the cupping. Paid $1300 for complete bed, frame box spring all From Simmons ! It's defiantly soft but know is too soft! If it had been made a double pillow top so you could flip it, this may keep it in shape! Nicely made but too soft for me, even added a memory foam top to it and still cups! If you like feeling molded in the bed you'll like it! If you need firmer feel don't buy it. This is a king size

Terrible investment

Matrix is bended and we will claim warranty to switch to another brand. Very expensive matrix and very poor quality

Double Whammy!!

I couldn't find a place to leave a review where I purchased the mattress from so I'll leave it here instead ;) I suffer from insomnia and back pain. I chose this bed mainly because it was a hybrid. I had determined I needed memory foam. I needed to not feel my boyfriend getting into bed. And I needed a bed to help me stay asleep. So far so good. I have the kind of insomnia where after I fall asleep if I'm disturbed in the slightest and causes me to wake up, I'm awake for good. This bed has helped tremendously with those issues. The memory foam helps me hunker in for the night (I'm not a toss & turner), it fills my shape to take pressure off my back, and I'm never awoken by disturbance in the night. For the record I don't have or sleep with pets or kids. My back pain is from scoliosis not from a back injury.

Simmons Black stay away
