good mattress when you first buy

this is a great mattress we have had it for 3 years but now we cant even sleep on it without waking up feeling like we are 90 years old. Our backs hurt so bad when we wake up that we half the time end up sleeping in our recliners because of it. We just put in for a warranty claim so we will see where that goes hopefully good

So good I want another

This is was the perfect mattress for myself and husband. Great balance of support with softness, it has now been relegated to guest room duty as we moved up to king size. I would like to find another mattress just like this one for the guest room at my parents house that we stay in.

Buy too firm vs too soft! You can always add a topper!

I actually feel like a weiner in a hotdog bun!! I am 5'8" tall and weigh 130 lbs. I sink in the middle. It's very hard to move around at night. Sad

Feel every inner spring!

I purchased the Simmons Black Beyond Earlington Firm mattress because I thought it would help with back issues. I had knee and hip surgery in the last two years, and I find that both areas are very painful now. The mattress feels as though the springs are poking into my ribs and hip and I awake feeling exhausted. I'm really disappointed as it appeared to be such a great mattress; the quality appears to be very good but it is the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I will likely change it for a Marshall as I have only had it for 2 weeks and the reviews for the plush pillow top in Simmons are not great. Also the salesman advised me that the pillow top has considerable "sinkage" in the middle after a few months. Don't want that so will go with a mattress I can flip. Non-flip idea was a sales feature for me until the sales associate said that it was great for the company as the mattress would need replacing sooner than one which could be flipped- good point. Hate this mattress and can hardly wait to get rid of it.

Creates aches

We thought we were buying top-of-the-line, but within 5 years this mattress has collapsed into pools and valleys so moving around is uncomfortable and wakes us.

Foam breaks down quickly , avoid this!

This mattress was perfect when I first got it . Perfect blend of Firm and pressure point relief . That lasted three months . The foam layers softened quickly and I was sinking in the bed . Never had a bed break down so fast . Returned it to Mattress Firm with no issue , and exchanged for a different foam mattress that is as hard as the floor , and can not sleep in it now . Done with foam . I’m going all cotton and flipable . Wasted money on beds I will not use . 4K in a year and three months . Still need to buy another . Mattress industry needs to stop ripping people off . Go back to beds that last . Make them flipable and foamless .

Very Lumpy and body impression

The pillow top has lumps and tends to move when I lay on it. It's 15 months old and you can see rolls in the pillow top. Would never recommend this to anyone. Extremely disappointed. I have shoulder and back pain often from this.

model 700753045-1050 hole where I lay after few days 14 yr

divot in just a few days like my 14 yr old mattress also purchased from Value City Furniture, did not expect this mattress just made a month ago , vcf slow to respond, said have to review, 2 sentences long tech report? What is to review, I have old mattress may as well return new one and shop more carefully next time

Very comfortable

We have had this bed for just over 2 years. At first It was perfect and I slept harder than I had in over a year. We moved this into our guest room to make way for our new king mattress. I hated the new one, so I’ve actually been sleeping back on this one for a while until we get a new one. It has worn in somewhat, but still very comfy. I have herniated discs and still sleep great. All my guests ask what kind of mattress it is. I’d recommend this to a picky sleeper for sure.

Worse Night's Sleep Ever

We bought this mattress because my husband was having problems with pain in pressure points and thought this mattress would be better for him. If we had not already gotten rid of our former mattress, we would have switched back to it after the first night on this mattress. HATE how it feels and lays and it gave me a constant neck and back ache. However, his pressure points didn't hurt after a night on this mattress which was the only good side. Our former mattress was firmer and this one is softer - if you like a soft mattress that your body sinks down in, then you would probably be fine with this one. We plan on replacing it as soon as we can. Definitely would not recommend it.
