Bad dipping top layer separated from inside next layer

Slept on the mattress only six months as we go away for 6 months of the year always. Shrinkage very bad in both areas. Then the top layer of the mattress separated from its next layer of whatever and began to roll up inside. Inspector came out and agreed. Would not recommend buying until the manufacturer corrects what is goin on.

Not Plush

First off, we love this mattress. Went from a queen serta pillow top, to a king haven pines plush tight top. Was tired of the pillow tops sagging. The one negative is that I wouldnt call this mattress plush, more of a luxury firm. We were expecting it to be much more plush. Took about a week for our bodies to adjust to mattress. Almost three weeks later have been sleeping great. I would recommend this mattress so far.

Terrible mattress

We've had this mattress for just 3 years and it is excessively sagging. It actually started in the second year of use, but unfortunately I didn't look into the warranty on it. I think I was in denial that this new-ish mattress was actually deteriorating so quickly. I wish I had as I am now shopping for a new mattress once again. I initially spent about $920 on this mattress and expected to get more than 3 years of use from it. The sagging is so pronounced on each side that it's as if we're sleeping in two holes. I found a 'hack' online to temporarily offer a bit of assistance: we now have slipped a row of pillows between the mattress and the box spring to push the mattress up in the areas where we sleep. It's ridiculous, but gotta do whatcha gotta do. Definitely pass on this mattress unless you like shopping for a new one every 2-3 years.

Multiple Divots

Shortly after purchase noticed a divot in the mattress. Was told to rotate mattress. Rotated, now I have two divots and a sore back. No mattress should break down this quickly. Only been a year since purchase and Simmons does not want to honor the warranty. . Said divot is not 2". Their measuring technique is not accurate. Measuring tool does not fit inside of divot if you have a small body frame. When using a ruler at lowest point, larger divot is over 2". Have seen the same complaint on multiple sites.

This Bed appears to give out after 2 years of use...

We bought this bed from Sleepy's (now Mattress Firm) May of 2016. We needed a new bed that was going to work better for both of us. Our Adjustable Air bed was just not working for us, and we decided to finally go to a mattress store. We moved into a new house, and thought new beginning. So we sprung for the Simmons PHENOM CROSSOVER PL/FM QN MAT after spending a lot of time trying out mattresses. We believed the sales person (who apparently was a trainee under the guidance of another woman) sold us this mattress (which according to her was the closest to the one we tried out. It was comfortable and we felt the body relax and slowly sink into the mattress. I felt like my back was supported as well as my hips. I have back issues and really needed the support. This one that she sold us felt amazing. So much so that in the store both my hubby and I were so relaxed I could have fallen asleep. We ended up buying the adjustable base because it was great to have the option to raise the head, have the massage option etc. Well, about 6 months ago it seemed as if the springs got really noisy. Just sitting on the bed made a lot of noise. The mattress itself, once really firm when you got on it and then sunk in, no longer happens. It just sinks in. The sides don't hold up either. Its like the bed "loosened up" and lost the firmness to hold people up. I can't sleep and am up several times in the middle of the night with back and hip pain. It is NOT the same bed that I purchased and after spending so much on a mattress I am frustrated beyond belief. Both my hubby and I feel the difference and have commented many times that something is just not right. After this experience, I would be less inclined to step foot in a mattress store ever again. I'm really disappointed in the makeup of this mattress and will be filing a warranty claim on it. I'm going to guess that nothing will be done however, as the feel is what the problem is and no picture can show that.

Terrible mattress and terrible warranty

Don't buy from this manufacturer. They do not honor their 10 year warranty on this defective mattress. I will NEVER buy another Beautyrest mattress again!

Don’t get this mattress!

Where to start? After a few months I would go to sleep and sink so far down into the mattress that I couldn’t roll over without pulling myself out of a hole. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. It’s supposed to keep you cool but does the opposite, I’ll wake up sweating. The pillow top hasn’t held up at all, it looks deformed. And rotating it is nearly impossible because it’s so heavy. My last bed was firmer and hurt my hips a bit. Now this bed is a little better on my hips but I wake up with my back killing me. There is no support whatsoever. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. I threw almost 4K down the toilet and now need to save up for a new bed.

Should have bought it sooner

Have owned a Beautyrest for the past 20 years. This is my third one in that time frame. The one that I just replaced was 11 years old. Will only purchase Beauty rest. Chose to buy this one and have not regretted it one night.

The mattress that has been advertised in HSN it's definitely not the one that was built or delivered to me. When a regular person (Not Heavy) seats at the edge of the bed, the mattress is like going down the floor with him or her. When sleeping it's like the mattress is syncing, no comfort, no support at all. HSN video shows how those mattresses are well built with coil showing if someone is sleeping on one side of the bed and a glass of wine on the other side, the glass does not move, that's not the case for the bed that I have. Many people have tried it and they are all noticed the same thing. If an Heavy person is sleeping on the bed, she will definitely be syncing down. I recommend that the mattress that was delivered to me be returned and reimbursed me the money or be replaced by a better, firmer, comfortable, well built mattress. Yes I'm very unhappy with it!

Uneven surface before 12 months of purchase

At the beginning, this mattress seemed to be comfortable. Although somehow quite smelly. The smell went away on its second month. But here is the main problem. I am a petite 132lb person and this mattress before it's first year already feels uncomfortable. The surface is now uneven / it sinks where my hips lay which makes it quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this product. It is expensive and doesn't worth the money.
