Jane, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. It's natural for there to be impressions in a mattress after time, but if you think it's defective, please contact us for assistance (https://www.serta.com/contact/). -Serta Mattress
So I sent the email below to Serta on October 28, 2012 (5 days ago). So far no response. Here's my email to Serta of October 28, 2012 to which I have yet to receive a response. Thank you for your response to my review of the dissatisfaction with my Serta iComfort Bed purchase at Macy's. The mattress is sagging on my husband's side of the bed. I believe the warranty states coverage of 3/4 inch sag or more. I called Macy's and they sent out an inspector. He put a yellow ruler device about 15-17 inches from the head of the bed. When finished he asked if he could use my phone. He did and handed it to me and said the person on the phone would tell me what Macy's would do (leading me to believe that they would do something). Meanwhile he dashes out the door. Well the Macy's Customer Service rep said the inspector said there was no sag. Not true, there was some sag even there because I saw light underneath the ruler on my husbands side but...while I grant you my husband does have a "big head"(figuratively) his neck's not so heavy and that's about where the inspector measured. My husband's butt is where the sag is (on the bed). The inspector did not measure there and of course he's scrammed so I can't say hey you need to measure where the sag is. I called Macy's back and they said I'd have to wait 90 days to see another inspector. We are not sleeping and need to replace the bed now. I kept asking to speak with Macy's Customer Service management and was told I'd get a call back within 48 hours. It's been 48 hours and no call back. I would very much like an inspector back out in a reasonable time period (within two weeks) to measure the bed where there has been some weight on it about 41 inches from the top not 17".
Forgot to mention I've had no response from Macy's Customer Care management all thought I was assured that would happen withing 48 hours. That was a week and two days ago. So I reiterate to readers.......Serta Warranty Ha Ha Ha Ha
