No springs = Sleeping in a crevice

My husband and I agreed on this bed because he prefers a firmer bed and this one did not seem too hard for me. The pillow top at the time of purchase was not too soft and because of the lack of springs, we hoped we would not experience the problems with our previous bed of rolling towards each other in the middle. At first, the bed was great. I was pregnant and loved it. After having the baby, and the summer coming along, we both found ourselves waking up very sweaty at night. I am sure it is the mattress, because we tried all sorts of "cool" sheets Fast forward to, oh, only 4 months later. I am a side-sleeper, and my side of the bed had a permanent indention. We rotated the mattress (can't flip it because of the pillow top), but my husband's side also had a slight dip in it, so only a month later I was uncomfortable again. My husband sleeps on his back, so he says it does not bother him as much as it does me. I, however, have back pain because the dip in the bed makes me lean awkwardly. My legs sometimes fall asleep because of the weird angle. Overall, horrible mattress and Rooms to Go won't replace anything ever.

Hi Jessica, Rooms to Go never actually sold our Essential Pillowtop mattress, so this review is for a different bed than is listed. As I mentioned to you on Facebook, you either purchased the Nature's Image "Caress" or the "Embrace" -- probably the former since you mentioned a pillowtop. We're incredibly sorry that you had such a bad experience, especially since it is so a-typical of our Rooms to Go customers overall. We know how difficult it is to put down a lot of money on a mattress and not get the sleep or the longevity of quality that you anticipated. Since your bed did not qualify for replacement from Rooms to Go through our warranty program, and since you stated on Facebook that you're unable to have it sent back to one of our factories for replacement, there's not much we can do. Our sincerest apologies.
