Hot Nights!

I did plenty of research prior to purchasing this bed. It has been a little disappointing due to it retaining a lot of heat so it's always too warm, and it being a little too firm and not quite enough "spring" or resilience. It is on my platform bed without a box spring, and I can't find a mattress that feels right on it. Often I wake up with a numb hand and sore shoulder after sleeping on my side.

If the bed is on a platform with no slats then that's why the bed is sleeping hot. Beds need to breathe

Get the softest option

I ordered the medium based on my phone conversation with Joe, the ceo of nest. After sleeping on it for a few weeks I was sure that it wasn't going to soften up so they sent me a free ultra soft topper. This made all the difference, I do sleep hot but I share a bed with a woman who sleeps cold so the blankets on our bed play a big role in keeping me hot. The mattress itself may not be that bad. As for the team at nest bedding, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. Very friendly and what other company ceo would answer the phone personally.

Comfortable, but question durability

Love the mattress for the first few months, but I'm concerned about how long it will last. My husband and I have noticed we sink down much farther into the foam than we did the first few months (and we are not large people).

Best Purchase Ever

Last year we went to all the traditional mattress stores and could not believe the prices. Went online to look for alternatives and really liked what we read about Nest. Must admit we were a little nervous about buying a matress without testing but the warrantee gave us confidence. A year later and can say without doubt this is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on and at an amazing price.

Over-hyped Marketing

When asking about returning the product, customer service wants me to send it to a donation center. I do not have a center here that will take beds. Unfortunately, I was not able to return and get my refund. For the price paid, I thought I will get something better than my previous mattress. This mattress created a depression where i sleep in and made it difficult to move or turn in bed. Now that I cant return my product, I just gave $1200 away to Nest. please do not over hyped your marketing claim when it is not true. Ian

Best Mattress Ever!

My wife and I have the best sleep we've ever had on the Alexandar Signature Series medium firmness mattress. It's the perfect blend between a softer mattress (what she likes) and a firmer mattress (what I like). I highly recommend this mattress to anyone, especially if you are a side sleeper. The bed provides enough of a "hug" to get the foam feeling, but still enough support where I don't have any hip or back pain. I also recommend the nest pillow, though, if you like a softer pillow, you need to remove most of the filling.

Hi Chuck, as you can see our beds have really high ratings, and what you are describing is highly unusual. Can you do me a big favor? Can you send me some pictures of the mattress AND the base you have it on? Sounds suspiciously like it might be a base issue, but regardless, let's get it resolved for you. We use literally the highest quality foam on the market, so the foam itself would not breakdown like that for decades.

It's been a great mattress but I had to rate it only 4 stars because it seems like the thin top layer creates a fairly large "bubble" however it doesn't hinder the comfort at all it just looks kinda funny; so not worth dealing with a warranty claim.

Lumpy bed

The Nest Alexander is the worst mattress I've ever owned. Sleeping on it leaves permanent impressions on the mattress, and now the mattress is full of lumps. DO NOT BUY THE NEST ALEXANDER MATTRESS!! Total waste of money.
