Challeigh Plush by Sealy Posterpedic (Full Size)

I went to mattress firm for a new bed and went thru all the laying down on different lines in the budget catergoy I was wanting to stay within. The Sealy Posterpedic Challeigh Plus was the perfect match! I purchased the full size due to the size of my bedroom and purchased the 4 inch foundation and frame for right around $999 total. I never dreamed that I could feel so comfortable in this bed! I really enjoy taking a rest after work and look forward to going to bed fort he evening just to lay in complete comfort! I highly recommend this particular model for persons needing to spend less than a thousand for a complete set w frame! At first I didn't want to spend even that much but it was on sale and it felt great in the showroom! I have learned that a mattress purchased both a process and a long term investment, so don't be scared of the sales people. They really know their stuff and can help you get the best bed you can afford! In my case the Challeigh Plush was a home run!! The Challeigh Plus is so comfortable and supporting that I am in love with it and look forward to laying in it!

Comfortable - For a while

Giant dips formed where I sleep. So much so that turning the mattress no longer helps.

Poor choice but costly

If we had purchased at Costco as opposed to Rooms to Go, we would have received a new mattress,no questions asked. As it is, we are stuck with this as Rooms to Go claims is hasn't sagged enough. How much is enough when it is costing us a good nights sleep?

HARD AS A BOARD

I purchased this mattress from Macy's department store. It was delivered on a Saturday, I went back to the store the very next day to state and complain that it did not have the same density and softness as the one I tested in the store. The mattress is as hard as a board. I wake up with very bad pains in my hips and constantly wake up trying to find a comfortable position - none to be found. I would advise anyone that considers this mattress for a purchase to save their money and just place a board and pad on a bed frame, you will receive the same comfort level as if you purchased the mattress. The worst part after owning it for one day, I need to pay the department store an 85% pickup fee and a 15% preference fee to either replace or exchange it. I do not recommend this mattress for anyone!

I tested it at sears showroom and requested plush but this is not. I'm 70 and this is the worst mattress I've slept on. My husband is ok with it, he can sleep anywhere. Tried returning it but he made me wait and then we exceeded the expiration date by a few days. Do not buy at Sears. The saleswoman darling and helpful as she was not knowledgeable about their products. Of course we all have different needs but I didn't get the service I needed.

Was Good for Ten Years

Purchased around 2006 when it first was offered as alternative to spring mattresses. It's 2017 and the foam has soft places that no longer support. SpringFree was a great choice at the time, but it's life span is over. I think this is true for all foam mattresses. Ten years was a pretty good run for it.

Bulges

This bed was excellent in the beginning. It was firm, offered great support, and held true to form. After a little over one year and a pregnancy the bed has gone down hill. Bulges have formed at the foot of the bed. I rotated the bed and now have bulges at the foot and head of the bed. Unfortunately, a depression has also formed on one side of the bed which makes it harder to get out of bed. I expected more from a brand name mattress. This mattress will be going back to Costco shortly.

I can sleep anywhere but this mattress!

We owned a Restonic mattress for years and were very satisfied. We bought this one when it came time to replace our last mattress....if only we had stuck with Restonic! This mattress feels comfortable initially, but has no give at all....we wake up several times a night with arms and legs asleep and tingling....this mattress is still under warrantee, but there is not way we are continuing with this brand - it's just not worth it. I hate throwing away something like this....but can't continue with this shoddy mattress.
