Sleeping in a saggy valley

If you like sleeping in an unnsupported "valley" on your mattress, than this is for you. Recently I've had to go to sleeping directly in the middle of the bed, where there is a wonderful, fully supported hill. Which is great for me, but pushes my husband to about a 1/5 of our king size bed. Also, this bed sleeps extremely hot. Both of us end up kicking out the sheets in the middle of the night to get some air circulation. We've had this bed for about 6 years, and it was comfortable in the showroom but started showing signs of wear about 3 years in, even with regular rotation.

Only been two days, but it is AWESOME!

We have only had the mattress for two days, but so far it is great. My husband thinks the gel foam is slightly too soft, but I think it with the coils underneath is just right. Memory foam is too soft for us, but the balance of spring and gel foam is great to me. No back pain, very supportive and cool. I have not sweat at night and I ALWAYS sweat at night. We paired this mattress with a keep cool mattress cover and so far so good. Will add a another review in a month!

Mattress had great support originally.

After about 6 months of sleeping on the mattress, I felt its support start to diminish. After 15 months, its support is worse than the one we replaced that was over 20 years old. We will soon need to replace the mattress due to loss of sleep because of my back pain. When I sleep on other mattresses, I do not have the same problem.

Thinking of buying a Sealy Posturpedic Grant? Don't. Abo...

Thinking of buying a Sealy Posturpedic Grant? Don't. About a year ago I decided to treat myself to a "great mattress." I called Macy and I was advised to buy a Sealy Posturpedic with memory and a 9 inch high box spring. From the beginning I started feeling as though I sink into the mattress. My friends started blaming me for buying a mattress with a memory. I assumed the mistake was mine and I have to live with it.The height of the mattress was also a bad idea. It didn't make it easy on me to get into the bed. 3 months ago I fell down and I decided to remove the box spring. I called Macy and they sent a US Quality technician who took some pictures in a rush and told me that my mattress is "Defective...no good." I spoke to Tracy 65192, a Macy supervisor and she told me that "manufacturer's guideline do not deem my mattress defective because it sinks less than an inch and a half' I was very angry those things were not told to me before buying the mattress. She also told me that I should buy a 5 inch box spring box. Whyyyy? Why buy more things for a defective mattress.

sagging bed

Expected a more durable mattress not one that develops impressions on each side for each sleeper.

Terrible investment - A hard lesson to learn

I bought this mattress as my first mattress out of college. It was great for the first 6 months to a year. However, after only owning it for 2 years, I had to replace it. It dips severely in the middle and I wake up with back pain every single day. I finally replaced it and my back is starting to heal, but I am so disappointed that I spent the money on this garbage mattress. I could maybe see it being a good mattress for a child, as their weight will probably not cause it to sink in the middle. However, I'd recommend just avoiding this.

Mattress Firm rip off

I originally bought a Memory Foam Plush and was delivered a firm. Went back to Mattress Firm to exchange and was told the memory foam wasn't for my conditions so I got a hybrid after laying on it for 30 mins in store. I found that the Sealy Knightwick Hybrid Plus is to hot and I wake with back pain and often wake at night with back pain and hip pain. I think that the memory foam plush would have been a better choice if they would have sent me that mattress the first time. This hybrid is not a good choice for someone with back pain and spine problems. Not a good mattress.
