After a year of ownership, I can say that the Nest Bedding's Owl is the best mattress I have ever owned. I wish I had gotten it sooner!
I came from an old traditional innerspring mattress that I eventually put a latex topper on, so I had an inkling that I would like this innerspring + latex hybrid; but the Owl blue my old bed out of the water. It's been very comfortable. I am pleasantly surprised how much better I sleep on my Owl bed.
I love that you can flip or rotate (or even one day replace) the comfort layer, that makes me think that this bed will last me possibly the rest of my life +- the cost of a handful of latex toppers, and a protective cover! After my experience, I now have my whole family on Nest mattresses.
Tip: Give the latex at least 30 days to break in, as my bed started out barely too-firm but softened within the first month or so.

Pros of this mattress are that it has a lot of natural features, with the King bed you can have two different comfort levels based on each partner's preference, the company will send you a different topper i.e. soft, medium, or hard free within the trial and it's pretty comfortable and was a good price compared to other competitors.
biggest con and the reason we've had to return this mattress was that it sleeps way too hot for us. We have tried everything to try to make it work but it is just too hot. We are thinking in may have to do with the foam in the topper. Going to try another bed that has no foam or memory foam. If you've never had any issue sleeping hot you'll probably be fine.

My husband and I are both side sleepers with a big height and weight difference. I prefer a more plush feel while my husband likes a firmer mattress. This mattress makes us both happy. Just the right amount of softness and a bit of a sinking in feeling for me and enough firm support for my husband. We slept on memory foam mattresses for 20 years and while my husband loved the feel I could no longer tolerate the heat generation. The Nest hybrid is definitely cooler. The buying process was easy and set up simple. I highly recommend this mattress.

Started fine, then back issues developed, progressing from slight stiffness to full on back spasms while in bed and all day back stiffness. Pain causing, sleep quality deteriorated, do not recommend. I contacted Nest to see if I could exchange for a firmer model. I was denied as outside of 100 day warranty period, have owned less than six months. Note: first 30 days of warranty the consumer cannot return no matter what. I tried to honestly and forthrightly work with Nest. However, they quickly said no and did not listen.
I am a side sleeper of normal height and weight. The mattress was a Nest Latex Hybrid, medium firmness.

We have 3 Nest mattresses in our home...my husband and my bed, our guest room and our son's crib mattress. We absolutely love our Nest mattresses, and if ever we need another mattress, Nest is where we'll go. (Bonus that the people are also awesome, and a pleasure to deal with!)

The NEST mattress has not been as comfortable as expected. It was advertised as highly responsive and sleeping cool, but we have found it to be not much different than other coil mattresses and less comfortable than our latex bed was. Oh well.

We purchased after much research wanting a Green mattress. The mattress is comfortable although I didn't sleep great at the start. In a few weeks I adjusted well. I'm just starting to notice that it seems a ridge might be forming. We are small people so I'm a little surprised. Overall very happy

Great support and soft! It feels like sleeping on a cloud that's resting on the ground. I feel supported yet I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud as well. It's so strange, but I love my bed so much!!!

We've both been very pleased with this mattress and its a pleasure to go go to bed at night. It was the only bed I could find that offered a split so that one side is firm and the other less firm. After about 6 months it did begin to bother my hips at night and I called the company and they told me how to rotate it (you have to unzip the cover and rotate and flip the latex). It wasn't a big deal to do and it immediately resolved my issue. Another reason I made the purchase was because I wanted a king size bed and the way it is delivered in a box allowed us to fit it upstairs. Another plus is that there is little motion transfer.

The mattress and the customer service are the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this company and their products and don’t let the idea of an internet mattress purchase scare you. Their return/exchange policy is the best and they will work with you to find the right mattress!
