Like sleeping in a swamp

Mattress is way too soft with little to no support. It is hot. To me it feels like I'm sleeping in a swampy mess. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone

WORST MATTRESS EVER!!!!

We bought this mattress less than two months ago. The top drifted to one side almost immediately and had to pull the sheets and mattress cover back over every morning. The side walls collapsed immediately and when you sit on the side , you sink 6 inches. I have had back pain for the last 2 weeks and am seeing a chiropractor this morning. I have never experienced this kind of poorly made and deficient mattress before. I will never buy a Simmons product again. STAY AWAY from this product. The customer service told me they wanted a photo of the bottom of the mattress. I am a 65 year old woman and cannot FLIP a king size mattress.! I am done with this company. ! Buyer beware !!!!

Great bed for about 2 years. Bed is layered foam that shifts

Upon buying this mattress, I was extremely happy. For the first two years, I had some of the best sleep in my life. Whenever I moved into my new residence, the bed fell apart inside from being moved. There are several different layers/types of foam inside this bed that make up the mattress. When the bed was moved, the inside layers shifted like a pillow does inside if someone bunches it up. Once the bed was put in a vertical position to move it through doorways, all of the layers inside came apart like they were never even secured to one another. Now the top layer overhangs on both the bottom of the bed and one one side which means you have to stay away from those edges as you will roll right off with no support. Of course, on the opposite sides, it looks like steps. That side also causes you to roll off. It's also bunched up towards the bottom and one side so those areas are more comfortable than the bed should be and then other side offers less. Both sides sink in now despite the original comfort. They will not honor the warranty unless the fabric of the bed looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. Despite my bed protector and another blanket which caused little balls of fabric to stick to it, its virtually impossible to keep a bed that clean. The problem isnt the matress cover. There is no reason why they shouldnt replace or just fix the matress, but money and bad customer service rip offs seem to be the nature of both Matress Firm and Simmons Beautyrest. Should have got the same bed from Serta for 2000 or gotten a nest bed for 500 or 600 and replaced it every 2 years. 5 years later and I'm about to try and fix it myself before it goes out with the garbage. Stay away!!!

This bed is made of multiple layers that fall apart

This was what I thought to be the best mattress ever made. I slept on it for a year and had the best night sleep over ever had. Upon moving it in, there was issues with the bed settling after being moved. When it was moved upstairs(brand new), it seems like the layers moved and needed time to settle. One year later, I had to move after my fiance decided to leave me. I moved the bed to another apartment. At this time, the bed seemed to slide apart inside. The top layer of memory foam, that cooled and made the bed comfortable, slid and all of the layers came apart like a shuffled card deck. Now, half of the bed it comfortable, but has a big hole that it sucks you down into in the middle, the edge is layered to the point that it looks like steps and you cant get close to it. The other side as well as the bottom are overhang that causes you to easily roll out of bed if you even get close to the edge. However, this company expects people to keep their mattresses covered in plastic. Sorry, I didnt pee. No one spilled anything, however using the cover that we did, it caused little cotton balls to stick to the mattress and moving it caused a stain to set into the protector and through it onto the mattress itself. But despite the outside of it looking dirty, they wanna deny liability because of the stain on the outside that had nothing to do with the inside falling apart. I honestly dont know how this model is used for reclining beds as the bases would destroy it if they were anything like mine. Last time I will ever buy from this company. I would recommend to stay far away.... especially at the markup of this junk.

Foam layers sag & give-out in less than 2 years

I bought a Beautyrest "Black Desiree Firm" mattress with a suggested retail of over $2k. So I thought I was buying quality that would last, It didn't! I am not a large person. I am height / weight proportionate weighing 165 lbs. So I was very surprised to realize my mattress was sagging in less than 2 years use. And has gotten progressively worse in the past 3 months of run arounds from Simmons' / Beautyrest Warranty department. When I bought this mattress, the online description boasted a 20 yr. non prorated warranty. From day 1 of contacting the warranty department to exercise a claim, I have experienced a non-accomating process. Nothing short of"stall" tactics. It has now dragged on for 3 months & still no resolve in hand. To add insult to this process, they 1st told me my mattress only has a 10 year warranty & they go on to explain that a new replacement mattress will only carry the balance of the 10 yr. warranty. After an Independant Inspector came out they admitted that I do have a justified claim, but informed me that my mattress has been discontinued and I would have to identify a suitable replacement. In addition, they have the nerve to tell me that they will only honor a replacement upto the $1,000 I paid. Any additional would be billed to me! I pointed out that I bought my mattress on a Special online Promo Sale (as we all know the retails are fictitious). I also noted that their suggested retails had increased by 30-50% in the 2.5 yrs since buying mine. That said, all I wanted was Like-Kind & quality of construction as to what I had purchased. They then sent me on a wild goose chase to go identify a replacement product of my liking. (Along with a list of a half dozen of the biggest mattress sellers, NOT to go to). I spent 3 days researching & reading reviews online to identify Like-Kind construction and Firmness levels. And then another 2 days out in the field to find these prospective replacements. Reported back my 1st & 2nd choice and her on the 90th day, still no answer!

If you like sleeping in a crater this mattress is for you!

A brief period of time after buying this mattress it developed two significant depressions where my spouse and I sleep on our respective sides. You can literally roll into the depressions on either side, from the centre of the mattress (which has retained its original density). We had a Kingsdown mattress before this, and decided to try the Simmons Brand as our salesperson told us this mattress was 'Much better quality' than our Kingsdown. Not the case. Our Kingsdown was still comfortable, with a consistent surface and no body depressions/indentations in it after over 10 years of ownership. This piece of garbage we bought from The Brick after 3 years has given us many sleepless/restless nights. We are unable to actually sleep side by side, due to the fact we roll into seperate sides of the bed. Neither my partner or I are overweight, so the cause of this is not due to too much weight on the bed. And trying to figure out how to actually process a claim on Simmons' warranty induces anger at the incideous process one has to go through to elicit and sort of reply from the company itself! Avoid this mattress like the restless, sleepless, plague inducing waste of money it is! We will be shopping for a new mattress in the very near future!

I have absolutely hated this expensive bed after giving birth. It’s waaaay too soft for me and aggravates my back pain. When I wake up and sleep on the bed, it makes me not happy. I choose to sleep in the living room on the couch because it the firmness of the couch.

Finally able to sleep comfortably

For purchasing this mattress, I had issues sleeping on a old-school cold mattress. I had a back injury and could never find comfort in sleeping. No matter how many pillows are used I couldn’t find a way to wake up the next day without pain. I sleep so good on this mattress and highly recommend it to anyone that has a previous back injury, is the best investment you’ll ever make as an adult.

Sleeping on a slab.

I sampled and ordered an ultra plush mattress. This mattress is so hard you can barely even make a dent. Since purchasing this mattress I have developed sciatica, lower back pain and neck pain. The local store was helpful and sent to totally unqualified men to check the mattress. My response from the company was that it’s met factory standards. This is by far the worst mattress I have ever owned and I’m now sleeping on my couch which is far more comfortable. This is the most expensive mattress I have ever purchased and by far the worst
