Pillow top showing indentations in first 3 weeks

I am a 110 lb female sleeping alone on this mattress. Within three weeks the pillow top started to retain indentations where my butt rests. After less than 2 months I can no longer sleep comfortably on this mattress. My hips rest on what feels like a hard surface below the pillow top and I wake with pain in both hips from trying to find a comfortable position. It is also aggravating my sciatica. I bought it from a store with a 100 night exchange policy. It is going back as soon as I find a replacement.

The mattress sags in on both sides. Has a big hump in the middle and I feel off balance .you can see the sags when you make up the bed. The seller was not sympathetic and basically let me know that if it did not measure at least a inch and a half Serta would not do anything.

Like sleeping in a fluffy hole

We were told this mattress was fine for someone 300 pounds. We didn't realize the place we bought it from had a zero return policy. I was rapidly losing weight. At that point, I was maybe 305 pounds? Boy, that cutoff must be *exactly* 300 pounds because the mattress almost immediately collapsed under my weight. Also, they sold us an adjustable base and this mattress is only comfortable with the proper box springs but we couldn't afford them at that point. We saved for months for this purchase. Now it's 2 years later, I'm 100 pounds lighter but I still wake up crying from the pain. And the sides look like a wave. One side is arched like \ and the other side is arched like \ so when you sit it practically touches the base of the bed on the side where it is permanently about 3 inches adrift from where it should be but curling under my knees. If I sit on the other side where the 3 inches hang over the bed I feel. like I'm going to fall off. It looks like a permanent wave caught still. The worst part, though, is where I guess the coils shift? Because when I lay down I feel like I'm laying on a normal bed. Then when I wake up 2 hours later, I'm pushing myself out of a hole my torso has fallen into. Do NOT buy this mattress. Seriously. I think I'll buy the harmony lux next because I can't afford a 4" purple.

warrenty useless

We were sent the Serta Perfect Sleeper Trelleburg mattress as a second replacement under warrenty. Original mattress was purchased in Winter 2014. Each of the 2 warrenty replacement mattresses including the Trelleburg have failed in the same way. The side support of the mattress is GONE! If you sleep too close to the edge of the bed you will run the risk of falling off onto the floor. We are seniors. We are tall thin people. There is no way that sitting on the edge of this mattress given our weight could have compromised the side support. DO NOT BUY SERTA.

Great mattress for the price

This mattress has been very comfortable. Has helped a little with back pain. Would definitely buy this type again. Everyone who has used our bed says it's very comfortable.

horrible mattress, the Serta and Macy companies are horrible

We have only had this mattress since October 2015. There is already a inch sag all the way across it. Serta will not warranty a mattress until it is 11/2 inch. We spent over $1200 for this mattress and had we known the quality we would not have purchased it. Customer service at both the Macy and Serta store are horrible to deal with. I spoke with 3 different people at Macy's and each one of them have me a different story as to what should be done.

We're sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. Normal body impressions can occur over time due to the nature of foams and fibers when exposed to body weight and temperature after consistent use. We conduct very thorough quality testing at our Research & Development lab where we simulate years of wear on our Perfect Sleeper mattresses, and have consistently determined that body impressions less than 1 1/2" are considered normal after consistent use of the mattress. Anything greater than this would be covered by warranty. We suggest rotating the mattress and making sure that the box spring and bed frame are providing proper support. Like a Brick

I have always slept on a firm mattress, but this one is extremely uncomfortable because it is so hard. I ordered it online, based on reviews in Consumer Reports, because I live in a rural area and don't have any stores close by. I did not test it in person before purchase, which was a huge mistake. But I've really never slept on anything this uncomfortable, so it's shocking and depressing. The restock and return shipping fees mean I have to find a way to make this work. Maybe a mattress topper?
