I have a bad back and bought a firm luxury pillowtop with the urging of the Macy’s employee. I should have known better. I previously had a Serta posturpedic for 10yrs and was moving and thought I should get a new mattress even though nothing was wrong with it.
I’ve had this mattress 2yrs now and 8mos ago i started waking up with back, neck and shoulder pain. My mother came to visit, slept in the bed and said it was time for a new mattress because it was sunken.
The luxury firm pillowtop feels like I’m sleeping on a feather bed/pillow and sinks in like a hammock. I can’t wait to get rid of this and hope Macy’s will let me switch for another manufacturer

I’ve had this mattress for less than 2 years and the pillow top feels like im sleeping on a hammock. I wake up I’m constant neck/back pain and toss all night. When my Mother visited and slept in my bed, she said my mattress was old and needed to be replaced. When I told her that This was a new mattress And my 10yr Old Sealy was given to my stepdaughter 2 years ago, she couldn’t believe it.
My daughter still has my Sealy-which is now 12yrs Old, and it’s more comfortable than this two year old Simmons. The Sealy was also a firm pillow top.
Never buy a Simmons mattress unless sleeping on a $1200 hammock is for you.

I bought this matttess in march 2015. Within the 1st few months I heard and felt springs either shifting or breaking. After about a year I was sleeping in a hole. After 2 years it was giving me severe lower back and shoulder pain, numbness down my arm. I am 250 and all this sinking was caused by JUST sleeping in the bed. I flipped the mattress over but that didnt help. Trench was still there. This is wortless for a larger person mattress, despite what the macys saleswoman told me. Macys and Simmons has lost me as a customer. 1300.00 mattress that I had to throw out after 2 years!

I made the worst decision of my life thinking this softer mattress would give me my dream sleep. What I found out is this mattress compounded the problems I had with my previous mattress. I slept exponentially warmer to the point that I would wake up in a bed soaked with my sweat. My back issues went straight to unbearable from almost bearable. I now take pain neds 3 times a day to cope. I thought all of this was just due to my aging. Im now 60 so I thought I had to live with this. After all, this was a luxury mattress, it couldn't be as simple as that, could it?
Then one day I slept on a firm mattress while out of town on business. I slept like a dream, woke up pain free, never broke a sweat. I just ordered a new mattress designed specifically to address my issues. I can't believe I waited and suffered this long.
If you sleep cool and love a soft mattress, this is for you. For the other 99% of us, do more research than I did.

We bought this in a king, in just a little over a month it started sagging on the sides where we slept. We first thought we needed to adjust the center support of our frame but after months of adjusting we finally realized it was the mattress. I also have had major back and neck pain along with numbness in my legs and feet which also after doctor appointments figured out it was this mattress. We had a latex before which I didn't find very comfortable but at least I didn't have the pain. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone!

This bed started sinking in after a year. It is very uncomfortable to sleep in. Woke up sore. The spings are not giving enough support. The mattress is uneven on both ends with hump in the middle. The only hump you can get is the hump in the middle.

We bought this for our new house right after we got married 3 yrs ago. I have not had a good night's sleep in 3 yrs. I had some back issues before we bought the mattress, and then 6 months later I had pinched nerve in neck, spinal numbness, restless legs, the list goes on. Not sure if bed contributed to my exacerbation, but it sure didn't help. I can go anywhere (even camping) and sleep better. We've been sleeping on an old double bed in our guest room until our new bed arrives. We are trying a latex mattress. Read about what they use to manufacture traditional beds, and you will never want to use one again! Latex is 100% natural. Just make sure you buy the real thing.

I purchased this mattress about 8 months ago and I chose ultra firm base on when I were at the store. I chose this same brand because the one I had before was excellent. This new mattress of course offers more features than the previous one that I owned. And I was very happy for the first 6 months and then it started to form a body impression in the middle. I woke up one morning and my lower back started to hurt. I switched to sleep on the other end and for a few days and then the body impression started too. I ordered a firm memory topper and it also worked for a month or so. I called the company and complained and it sent someone over to inspect. It later on blamed on my bed frame which also brand new I purchased the same time as the mattress. DO NOT BUY this type of mattress from Simmons.

We were told this would be a softer mattress since its plush. It is hard as a rock. I haven't slept well for the two years we've owned it. Also, it feels like an inferno. Sleeps very hot. No more Beautyrest mattesses for my family.
