Like sleeping in a swamp

Mattress is way too soft with little to no support. It is hot. To me it feels like I'm sleeping in a swampy mess. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone

Sleeping on a slab.

I sampled and ordered an ultra plush mattress. This mattress is so hard you can barely even make a dent. Since purchasing this mattress I have developed sciatica, lower back pain and neck pain. The local store was helpful and sent to totally unqualified men to check the mattress. My response from the company was that it’s met factory standards. This is by far the worst mattress I have ever owned and I’m now sleeping on my couch which is far more comfortable. This is the most expensive mattress I have ever purchased and by far the worst

Immensely overpriced

This was my first mattress purchase over $1500. I had a Stern’s and Foster years ago, hated it. Changed to a sleep number, didn’t like it either. So I shot for the moon with a high end beauty rest and it was a definite miss. It felt to me about like an $800 mattress. I tend to get hot at night, so the black ice feature was a big selling point. And that was a miserable fail. It provides no more cooling than any average unit. Started to sink in after a year. Warranty Dept was abhorrent. I just said I’m done, lesson learned and never buy this brand again. I sold it (for a large loss) and moved on to a memory foam mattress that was less than 1/5th the cost that sleeps better, stays cooler and provides better support.

Worst Mattress I've ever owned, Most I've ever Paid

Within 8 months one part of the mattress began to feel lower, like it was sagging. My wife said it was my imagination, but after a couple painful months of sleep, we turned the bed and she began to feel it too. It has continued to get worse, to the point where we "roll up" to one side. Finally filed a warranty complaint. Frame is perfect, box spring looks like new, mattress has a 2" hole that drops even worse when there is weight on it. So far no luck getting Simmons to do anything about it. DO NOT BUY!

Inferior to other Beautyrest Mattresses

This mattress was initially comfortable however after about a year of use the sides and top has developed sags that do not return to the original shape and is quite painful to sleep on. I've purchased other Beautyrest mattresses and they are all still in great shape except the Beautyrest Black Hybrid. Don't waist your money on this mattress.

Started off great but...

This mattress was great when new but within a year started to show body shapes for both my wife and I. I'm 220 lbs and she is 160. Rotated the mattress when we change the clocks for DLS as recommended by the salesmen. In the last 5 months or so both my wife and I have been woken up by pain in our hips and sides. The impression of our bodies has gotten much worse and rotating makes no difference. I am amazed that what was supposed to be a top end luxury mattress who fail so quickly! I called Mattress Firm to see what my options are and was told they no longer sell this model. Wonder why?

Sleeps way too hot!

This bed is very comfortable as far as being a side sleeper and needing relief on my shoulders and hips. But...THIS BED IS HOT!! There is way too much memory foam in this bed to sleep without sweating all night. Also, because it's memory foam you get the "stuck in the mud" feeling and it's very difficult to move around in. I returned this bed for a refund and won't purchase a memory foam bed again.
