I love this bed

I love this bed... I have muscular dystrophy, and restricted mobility because of that. I have also had both hips replaced, and have serious hip pain problems. This bed is so comfortable! My bed is adjustable, so I can raise any part of it to improve sleep or circulation. My bed has a massage feature, and can be adjusted to massage any part of your body at any degree of strength you select. I feel very pampered by this bed. Not long ago, I was out of town, and my good friends nearby had a house full of children and grandchildren. They ran out of places to put their children, and I volunteered my empty house for them to use. The couple who stayed here are in their mid-50s, and they have contacted me to tell me it was the very best bed they have ever slept on, and wanting to know what brand it was and where I bought it.

Lord, we hate this mattress

We've had this mattress almost 4 years. It was fine for about 6 months, but then started sagging where we sleep. We submitted a warranty claim (you actually have to PAY for someone to come out and measure the indentions in your mattress to see if it qualifies. We were about a centimeter short of their defective standards, so now we had a crappy mattress and we're out 60 bucks for the visit). We could submit another claim, I'm sure it would qualify now, because the indentions are so bad you actually have to sit up to change sleeping positions, but the offer is for a discount on another YuMe and there is no way we'd take another one of these things.

sleeping in a divet!

Loved this mattress initially; still like the warm/cooling feature. But edges of bed are now hard and we both have to sleep in a divet after a year or so. So sad cause it was a lot of money my husband spent for me to get a good nights sleep.

not work the money, sleeps hot, loses firmness

the problem with this bed is how it breaks in. When you first get the mattress, it is a tad firm and over a few months softens up. ok, so far so good. The problem is that after a year of use, the area where you normally sleep is super soft ( you almost fall in ) and the area of the mattress not frequently used is pretty hard. Meaning, you basically have to sleep in the pit you created. If you try to sleep anywhere else, you have to fight from rolling into the pit, we bought the heated/cooled base in a king size. The heated/Cooled option is sorta cool. The heat option works great while the cool option works ok. I find that i constantly have to run the cool option because the mattress itself retains so much heat and really sleeps hot. my wife and i spent over $5,200 for the king mattress and the heat/cool base. And we have had 1 warranty claim in 3 years and are about to do another. We would like to get a few more years out of the purchase especially since we spent so much money, but might just call this mattress a loss. we will NEVER buy another yume, and are probably done with memory foam mattresses.
