I bought this mattress after being talked into the concept that memory foam was great for the body. I noticed the overwhelming heat immediately. Sleep has not been the same ever since. One year later, I sank into the bed as usual and turned my neck on the pillow. What it felt like was as if my body had been held captive while my neck was able to relax and turn in an unnatural way. After surgery, my surgeon said he had not seen anything like it in such a physically strong person with no neck complaints.
As the years went on, I kept having more and more aches and pains. I noticed hip and leg pain. I would experience off and on back pain that would always improve when we traveled. I recently had a car accident which resulted in a shoulder and whiplash injury. One and a half years later, I wake up multiple times in pain.
It was very interesting that I had much better sleep and many less aches when sleeping in a different bed. I even tried to sleep on the sofa and noticed it was better.
My bed leaves a huge indention where I sleep and I have found myself off the pillow and almost off the bed because of the way it slants. My previous mattress had been much cheaper and much more comfortable. There was no heat although the room was much warmer due to ducting issues in my old home. Overall, I feel that this bed has aged my body and caused significant sleep deterioration.
I have gained thirty pounds and want it to stop. I recently contacted the company and will be awaiting a response soon.

I bought this mattress because it was inexpensive and would be shipped right to my door! I never dreamed it would be so comfortable! I have owned it about 1-1/2 years and am preparing to buy another one! It is perfect for someone who needs good back support.
After about 2-3 months of owning this the bed, it began to lose all structural integrity. It was supposed to be a firm mattress. Ultra firm actually... yet after 3 months of use, became totally unsupportive. I would sink straight down to the box spring!
I had two different warranty claims put in within the 1st six months I owned it. Both times, I was rejected because the person was not allowed to touch the bed to actually verify it's lack of structural integrity! How on earth can you test the support, or lack there of, in a bed without touching it??? The warranty was a total joke, as was this bed! Save your money for a better bed from a better company!
I have to admit it took me some getting used to memory foam after having a spring mattress my whole life. It is amazing for sleep and for reducing the amount of motion you feel from a restless sleeping partner. We have had ours for three years and its still just as good as it was in the beginning. The downside was the offgassing that happened the first few weeks, that it is a bit hot and that the lack of motion, which works for sleep, is not so good for sex.
Vivon is a nightmare!!!! I I just purchased two Vivon mattresses for a vacation rental unit. When the order arrived, the box springs looked normal, but the mattresses were decompressed and rolled up into a bag. The delivery guy said they are all shipped that way and the mattresses would immediately begin to decompress when they were opened. Well, it was immediately apparent there was a problem. The mattresses were decompressing unevenly. It is now way over the 48 hour mark (4 days have passed) that they say is required for full decompression and I have a friggin' boat sitting on top of the box springs. One of the mattresses only decompressed around the outside and the other mattress still has a small bowl-shaped depression. I have tenants arriving in one day and the furniture company can't do anything until Vivon comes out to inspect the mattresses. Even after the inspection, I can't get replacements for at least 2 weeks to 40 days. Of course, when they give you a time frame we all know which side it will fall on....probably 50 days. Guess I've lost these tenants for any future bookings (unless they decide to use the mattresses as a raft) . THANKS A LOT FOR NOTHING VIVON!
