High quality option that will last

After a solid month of watching mattress reviews, I settled on this. At the time, it was the best bang for the buck in the natural latex category; that may have changed, I have not kept up. Couldn't be happier with this mattress. Very comfortable and soft, but still provides good support and bounce. Great motion isolation, and of course silent as you move about it. The ability to rearrange the layers to adjust firmness is nice (also if moving, it's wonderful to be able to break it down in 3 pieces). I wanted something that would hold up well, and this seems to be in perfect condition, with no noticeable degradation anywhere after 3 years. I am 5'11" and during the course of owning this mattress, weight has varied between 300lbs and 250lbs. I was concerned about my weight, but the mattress handles it just fine. I have it on a basic metal folding base (thicker metal slats, not the wire) and it seems to support it just fine. I am not able to feel the metal base through the mattress whatsoever. Overall, very happy I went the latex route. Certainly converted me for life. Thanks to goodbed for taking the time to make the video reviews!

I've loved this mattress from the start! I especially like that it's all natural! Made from the rubber tree, wool and cotton! No petroleum crap! The best thing is that you can adjust the firmness by switching around the layers! When I got it I had firm on bottom, medium in the middle and soft on top. Then after awhile I decided I needed more firmness so I put medium on the top, soft in middle and firm on bottom. Voila! Perfect! I do spend a lot (too much!) time in my bed, watching TV, up to 4-5 hours/day and sleeping 8-9 hours/nightly! I know this is not normal use for most preople so after 1.5 years I've noticed it's starting to get a "valley" where my hips rest. I may have to order a new layer. But it's nice to know that I have that option!

Like it so much I really want to tell everyone!

We are so, so pleased with our Spindle mattress!! We did A LOT of research on mattresses and were close to buying a completely different type of mattress when we found Spindle. I called one day to learn more and was so impressed that Kim spent close to an hour on the phone with me explaining the latex and discussing what would be the best option for my husband and me. He even suggested I go to some stores to try out a competitor's mattress--and said if I thought it was best for us, to buy it. The competitor mattress convinced me that I wanted a latex mattress, but Kim's customer service (and the price!) convinced me I wanted a Spindle. After a few more conversations with Kim by phone and e-mail, we decided on the best options for us. We have had it about a month now & are SO pleased. I have had a significant reduction in the back and hip pain I feel when I wake up in the morning--some mornings I have no pain, which is remarkable! Furthermore, we love that we can customize our mattresses. We bought 2 twin XL for our king bed. I LOVE being able to move layers around to get the perfect fit for each of us. We are both sleeping SO MUCH better than on the memory foam mattress we replaced. And did I mention the reduction in pain??? So, so grateful to have found Spindle!

This website has great information. Video review and quiz helped me decide on a Spindle. I emailed the manufacturer with a couple of questions before my purchase and received a in-depth response. The shipping was fast and assembly easy. I appreciated their recommendation for a mattress pad. I looked at a couple of latex mattresses near me but they were very expensive. This mattress has be wonderful. Best mattress I have had in years. I actually sleep through the night now. Highly recommend this mattress.

Great latex mattress at the right price

Was looking at latex good latex mattress and noticed that spindle was only 50 miles away in Massachusetts Went to their showroom and tested the mattress and liked the ability to adjust the firmness levels with the three levels of latex Salespeople real honest about the mattress and what to expect Have been sleeping on the mattress now for over a month and it has helped both myself and spouse with back pain. Have recommended to friends and family It was good decsion

Love it!

The Spindle mattress is great! I was nervous about going for a mattress that required assembly in latex layers vs. the typical mattress, but I couldn't be happier with the result. Had it not been for the recommendations of the amazing people at goodbed.com, I never would have gone for the spindle. It was great to have specialized options and recommendations based on our sleeping habits and I enjoyed the process of purchasing online, rather than going into a store. We wanted to try a bed out though, so goodbed gave us options of similar latex beds in our area that we could try out for feel. Couldn't be happier with my goodbed experience! Thank you thank you!!!

Extraordinary service. Great experience. Great product too

The folks at Spindle Mattress built us a custom product that was great to begin with. That purchase included a topper. When I found sleeping a bit warm - which was entirely due to the compliance of the topper, which we otherwise liked, they custom made a new cover for the topper to solve my issue. The cost to them in time and material was non-trivial. The new custom cover was all organic cotton and wool. And the making of such a cover for the topper was a one-off special. The charge to us? No charge. And the bed is perfect. Oh yes, and our total cost for the mattress and topper - by dealing directly with the manufacturer - was less than half of what similarly constructed products sell for through retailers. This is a top-notch product, with world-class service, at phenomenal savings.
