No more pain!

Absolutely no pressure points! Used to wake at night with major pain in hips due to arthritis. With no pressure on knees, hips, shoulders etc I get full night sleep - much less rolling to get comfortable - lying in any position is perfect. Once again, NO PAIN! Amazing from first night on.

I was having issues with a $1500 Sealy Posturepedic hybrid matress. I knew I had to go back to old school inner springs and saw this matress on display at a local Lacks furniture store. They had the king on clearance for $277, $299 out the door. Best investment I ever made. Nice and firm where it needs to be. It took a lot of effort getting out of our fancy matress but this one you're able to just hop right up. Pocketed coils are great and this king size offers 992 coils! Best value on the market but don't be fooled by its low cost. This matress retails at $700. I normally don't do reviews but had to as it has helped me greatly and there is very little information about the primo international matresses out there. Goodbye sealy and Serta for good! I'll be a repeat customer with primo for a very long time!

Very good bed

I definitely recommend this mattress. It feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. It's definitely a big upgrade from my last bed. You can flip this mattress depending on your preferences, one side is firmer then the other.

Couldn't be better

I took a chance on the Primo Spectacular based on price alone. They gave me a 30-day trial period, so I figured I had nothing to lose. It was a $1,600 set marked down to half price (in-store demo). I must say, it really is spectacular!! I've never regretted this move. This was over four years ago. I travel frequently on business and often comment about how I can't wait to get home so I can sleep in my own bed. It really is that comfortable. I found this web-site while I was looking for a place to buy another set from this same manufacturer for a new place just purchased. I read all of the reviews, and that is not my experience with Primo at all. I can't speak for all of their products, but I can tell you that the Primo Spectacular is a really great mattress. I have absolutely no intentions of replacing mine. If you are looking for a really firm mattress with a world-class pillow-top, this model should be considered.

WAS a wonderful mattress.

My hubby likes very soft mattresses and I like firm. This mattress (when we first got it) was PERFECT. It gave him the feeling of plush and me the feeling of support. 18 months later I was at Joe Tahan's Furniture asking about warranty information because even my hubby now thinks the mattress is too soft. It lost A LOT of it's responsiveness from the memory foam. The mattress feels like it's 40 years old and just caves when touched. I wake up hurting every morning and so does he. All in all.. for the first 6 months.. this WAS a good mattress. After 6 months it looses a lot of it's memory foam quality. I don't know about you, but for $500, I would like my mattress to last more than 6 months. Sex on this bed is very hard. It hurts your knees if on top and you just sink into oblivion under. Overall I would not recommend this bed except for maybe like a guest room that doesn't get used every night.

Firmy Squishy

My sweetheart loves to sink in and be held firmly like a cozy little bunny in play doe. I prefer something that offers a little more firm yet soft support. This mattress seems to bare a common ground somewhere in between. We do feel our heavier parts tend to sink somewhat and I wonder about support. Perhaps adding a firm thin foam might firm it up a little. Overall we are pleased with this and though the experience differs from a regular mattress, we are both sleeping better and waking up with less back pain so.... Time will tell. Good luck next, fridge.

Get past the smell it sleeps great

If money wasn't a factor we probably wouldn't have purchased this particular mattress brand, we would have gone with a more 'natural' fiber (and more expensive) and not this latex type because the smell is very strong! We aired it out for a whole day when it arrived and then every day after that for 2 weeks I kept the covers pulled off so the smell would release before I had to climb into bed at night. It has been a month and the smell is much less now, and I am able to make the bed during the day and know that when I pull the covers back at night it won't knock me over with what can only be described as a strong paint odor. I suffer from constant neck and shoulder pain and now after a month of sleeping on this mattress my shoulder pain is so much better, my neck pain has improved, but that is still an issue and I am looking for a better pillow. The mattress does retain heat and we had to adjust our bedding. I was sleeping with a down comforter, but that is now stored away and I brought out a lighter bedspread and blanket. My partner puts out his own heat so it was a double whammy before switching the blankets! I do miss my down comforter. Overall I am happy with how the mattress conforms to your body and also allows easy movement. I no longer feel my partners tossing and turning at night, which often woke me up, and do fall asleep faster, most nights. We are curious how it will hold up in the months, years ahead and hope we can stop back here and continue to give a good review of its durability and comfort.

Too Plush

This bed felt like a dream when we tested in store. Owning it for a week i don't feel tired however, it is over plush (12inch), and we wake up sweaty every night during the winter. Its frustrating to sink so far deep and struggle to change to your side etc. Im also not sold on the cooling gel it seems gimmicky. We are returning it.
