Terrible!

It took my husband and me quite a while to choose a new mattress. We had used a traditional Sealy for over 10 years, but it had become increasingly uncomfortable. Initially, we purchased an orthopedic memory foam mattress that was more expensive than Nature's Rest. However, we weren't satisfied with the sleep quality, so we used the return option—paying a fee—to try something else. We decided to give Nature's Rest a try, and for the first 4–5 months, it seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately, that didn’t last. The mattress began to develop slight indentations on both sides and quickly lost its support. The only semi-comfortable spot left was the middle, which had retained some of its firmness. By the 10-month mark, I hated the mattress entirely—but we couldn’t afford to replace it. Later, a friend who was moving out of state gave us her custom latex mattress, so we stored the Nature’s Rest in the garage, thinking we might use it for a rental property someday. A few months later, the friend moved back and took it out of storage. Two months after that, she called to say she couldn’t handle sleeping on it anymore and was now seeing a chiropractor two to three times a week just to stay relatively pain-free. So, the Nature’s Rest mattress returned to us. Within a week, I found myself preferring to sleep on the floor rather than spend another night on that 200-pound abomination. No pros—only cons.

Not worth the money !!!

I live on a fixed income and purchased this mattress at a bedding manufacturer in my city, the owner was very kind and I explained to him that I have lower lumbar degeneration and fibromyalgia and I was looking for something that relieved the pressure points. The matress in the showroom felt soft, plush and perfect, however the one I purchased feels like I'm sleeping on a piece of plywood 😢 it is as hard as a rock, uncomfortable and I feel soo much pressure on my hips and back.. I've spent so much money on useless toppers to no avail

Sinks in middle

Will not honor warrenty!! I purchased this mattress with a 25 year warranty in 2009. I contacted Air Spring and was told they would not honor the warranty because Air Spring was sold to a new company. The new company is still operating under the same name -Air Spring Nature Rest. I was told that it should last longer. I turned the mattress as instructed. No consideration from Air Spring at all.

Very disappointed

I am not a person that leaves poor reviews, but buyer beware this mattress is not worth the money. I wish I had my 15 year old memory foam back and it was way past its life span. This mattress has deeper body impressions in 4 months than our 15 year old mattress did. From day one I felt like I was rolling off the bed. Then all of the sudden it developed a huge crater and what I refer to as "the great divide" that's a high ridge down the middle of the bed. I've turned it regularly praying this would help, but sadly it has not. It is still lumpy and concave all at the same time! I wake up with low back pain almost daily and my back has never given me trouble before. I thought a new mattress would improve my sleep but now I'm lucky if I get 4 hours a night. I hurt, I'm sleep deprived and I am miserable! The only positive I have about this mattress is that it does not sleep hot.

Difficult to move around in and get out of.

I was talked into this mattress by a company representative before I bought it at Cardi's in Warwick. I have Fibromyalgia and was told that my body would be comfortable in the spots that hurt me. Over the years, I have gotten progressively worse sleeping on it. One thing that is awful is that the sides are not firm so it is difficult for me to get out of the bed. I hate that part of it the most. I seem to sink in too much and think I should have chosen a firmer mattress. I wanted so much to like this mattress but for the past 5 years, I have been having to go to physical therapy to treat my lower back. I feel this mattress has unfortunately exacerbated my lower back problems and my Fibromyalgia. I like the natural makeup of the mattress but feel that I was misled by the company representative and then the mattress salesperson at the store. If I had the money (I live on a fixed income). I would buy a Nature's Rest mattress but a more firm one.

Disappointed

Previously we had a Nature's Rest Mattress we bought in 2001. It was terrific and lasted over 10 years. We have only had this one for 4 years and it already has sever body impressions. It is called Luxury Firm but it seems to have little support. We also noticed the craftsmanship doesn't even compare to our original mattress. The split box springs and mattress do not line up either which we brought to the attention of the place we purchased our mattress but they said that was the box spring that came with the mattress. We are not sure if it is owned by the same company. We plan on contacting the company, we will see if they stand behind their product.

Natural Latex Mattress - would love for it to work

Wanted this for natural materials, no chemicals, and firmness without being cloying like the posturepedic mattresses we tried in store (feeling like they sucked us in and we couldn't get out of the indent). Great for two, as it does not transfer movement of partner rolling around in his sleep, which used to make me almost seasick. Trouble is: I love it. Hubby finds it too hot at times, esp. in summer. What makes us go back for the warranty now after less than 3 years is that the mattress top surface bunches up into long sausages across in two places and won't let you smooth it down. We're not sure why. Inspector was there and confirmed this. We'll see how the company and store will/can resolve this. Not looking forward to searching for a mattress again! If Nature's Rest company could resolve this directly and perhaps supply hubby w/a cooler top option (we bought the recommended 100 Dollar mattress pad at the time), we'd be very happy as far as the overall structure and the faith that it's made from largely natural materials.

The mattress was spliced together

After years of sleeping on this mattress my wife and I decided to get a new bed. Today I cut the Natures rest bed open so that I could dispose of it with ease. To my amazement I discovered that the sagging in the mattress was due to the fact that our king sized mattress was spliced together. It was made up from a queen mattress and an 18” piece of foam with a 3” gap! Between them. I have photos. It’s been a brutal sleep for 7 years. An incredible waste of money!

Comfortable

Very comfortable, pillow top is too soft so we flip it over and sleep on the 'back'. This thing is a beast to move. Seriously, its like 200 pounds of no-bone floppyness. I bought it in March 2003, and in Fall 2015, it is starting to show its age. The middle is a little mushy, but my husband and I sleep back to back in the middle, so that's probably 300ish pounds for 8 hours a day, for years on end. I would buy a new one, for sure, of it came in a slightly firmer model. The value for the # of years it has lasted is incredible.

Great for first 2 years, then AWFUL

I fell in love with the Nature's Rest all latex bed in the store - and fell for the sales pitch that it would last longer than a traditional inner spring model - 20 year warranty and all that. And I *loved* this mattress set for about 2 years. Yes, we rotated the mattress as recommended. And then, the body impressions/canoe in the middle of the bed became so dramatic that I couldn't sleep without pain. I persisted for another five years - even flipping the mattress and adding a topper - because I couldn't believe I had wasted so much $$. Finally couldn't take it any more, and bought a Casper. So. Much. Better.
