I love how the mattress is made in Iowa and is made the day before it's delivered. These mattresses are made like things used to be built in the US, to last. I've heard horror stories that mattresses are made to last a ferw years. Not my Lebeda. They still make a long lasting mattress that is consistently flat and supportive. Thank you Lebeda.
This bed is a brick. I alternate between side and stomach sleeping and wake up with extreme lower back and pelvis pain. I hate this bed. You do not sink in to this bed at all. It felt soft in the store, but I made a huge expensive mistake that I'm stuck with.
This mattress was bought firm on purpose so as to better support our weight. The manager, Laman Alvarez was very helpful when selecting the mattress in 2010 and we feel we made a good buy.
As our bodies have aged in the meantime we found the need to add a softer top mattress. We decided on getting a separate top mattress rather than buying a mattress with a built-in top mattress because we know the foam and quilting of top mattresses tend to develop body impressions and break down over time. Having the separate top mattress allows us to change it out as needed.
The top mattress was also bought at Lebeda and we are happy with its performance as well.
