I really liked this two sided, firm, comfortable mattress and it didn't start showing any depressions from loss of it's continuous wire supports or foam layers until its 18 year ... the mattress COVER was in perfect shape to the ends ... the only thing we did to improve air circulation under our bodies was to buy a high grade natural sheep wool cover for this CalKing bed. I was sorry they went out of business after being sold to some furniture company I think. I would have purchased another one.

I have been suffering from severe sacroiliac joint and back pain for many years. I have seen numerous doctors, taken various medications, and visited many chiropractors. However, it wasn’t until a month ago that I finally realized the real issue was my mattress.
So, we decided to add a topper to improve the support. We bought a latex topper, but after trying it, I found it was still too soft. That’s when we took immediate action—going from one mattress store to another, trying out different beds, until we finally discovered this mattress. It might just be the firmest mattress available in the U.S.
Most Americans probably prefer softer mattresses, but if someone in the U.S. is also struggling with back pain, they may not even realize that their mattress could be the root cause. My advice: try switching to this mattress. It must be firm—only with proper support can your back muscles truly relax while you sleep, allowing your pain to gradually fade away.
I am truly grateful to have found this mattress. I hope my review can help others who, like me, have suffered from pain for a long time!

Worst mattress I've ever purchased! Half way through the nifht the back pain starts. I have to roll out of bed, immediately to cat-cows stretches to be able to stand up straight.
I lay on my daughters bed after I get up for 20min, feel more refreshed and rested than all night on the Lady Americana!
Extremely comfortable firm but soft on top with 4" of latex inside at top for pressure-point relief. One side has sagged more than the other after 11 years with a few turns & only one-person use. Probably has exacerbated back pain issues for a couple years now & should have replaced sooner.

Got this mattress today 4/15/2022 and it is terrible! Not firm at all and is quite lumpy. It was standing on end in the store and it felt firmer to the touch than it actually is. No more Lady Americana for me. No, I am not returning it. I don't want to pay the restocking fee nor pick up fee. Just stating my opinion about this bed.
Best mattress I've ever slept on in my entire life. It's like sleeping on a cloud made in heaven. I look forward to sleeping more than anything else because of this mattress.
