Terrible Mattress DO NOT BUY

Bought this mattress YEARS ago and our top layer started giving us issues 4 years after we bought it. It is now six years post purchase and we have been suffering for years with these dips! The top layer in ours was the softest. We thought this would be a good investment since they state they have a 30 year warranty. They will make you jump through impossible hoops to get it. For starters they want you to show the platform you have under your mattress. I physically (bad back) cannot move the mattress off (we went with the 4 layer option) so that is impossible for me to do however i guess i could hire someone to help lift it , then they wanted me to remove the entire top layer off and then measure the dip. This means you would have to have enough space to lay out the top later completely out. I have a king size bed. How in this world can i make this work if i dont have the room for that? But if you can’t meet the “warranty requirements” (which are NOT listed currently anywhere on their website) they will offer you a discount to buy a new layer. Sounds a little scammy, right? This company does not HONOR their warranty and while initially raved about this mattress to everyone i could i will be telling everyone to stay far far away from this company. Foam Scam Foam! I would like to note that the warranty requirements have changed since i bought it and the owner who has zero professionalism skills will not honor the original warranty. Please do not make the same mistake we made. We keep buying topper to help but this is the year I will be trashing this junk of a mattress.

Several Latex from FoamSweetFoam for many many years

I read a bad review here from someone who likes Memory Foam and hated a latex mattress, then blamed the latex and company. So I'm giving a different view. Married 45 yrs, bought our first quality mattress in first year of marriage, Simmon's Beauty Rest. Amazingly comfortable and lasted past a15 yr warranty, 20 yrs., despite overweight. Finally the springs failed. At the time, mattresses in the stores started going towards a one-sided "cushion comfort" overlay; friends were replacing mattresses at thousands of dollars every 2 or 3 years! Cushion tops gave out or wrinkled; entire mattress obsolete, to the landfill with them! I was flabbergasted. What a boondoggle!! And a huge repeated expense! ( Mattresses used to be warrantied for 15 or 20 years! We used to be able to turn mattresses over, wear them evenly on two sides! Duh. No one would have ever dreamed of buying a mattress designed to fail! ) We borrowed latex mattresses my husband had slept on as a child... still sleepable after over 30 yrs. (We borrowed them for our toddler, who slept on them another 8 years. Then, we cut them up into sofa cushions and covered them.) I started hunting for latex. Found FoamSweetFoam who made buying at the time simple. Other manufacturers -- confusing. I appreciated a straightforward approach to sales and selection. AND we bought a queen sized 3 layer mattress, in two sides, with different hardnesses of latex on each side. They had a free exchange policy; exchanged the top layer. We've slept on that mattress and it's like new. 20 yrs? We liked it so much, I also bought more for family members. Those are all still going strong. p.s. Don't blame latex; you need to choose the correct firmness of latex, that's all. In contrast, Memory Foam presses against all your muscles. I tried but woke feeling like a truck hit me all over. It was designed for astronauts in space who need pressure to keep muscles isometrically exercised. It's not healthy encircling your muscles at night, constant pressure!

Bad choice

After years of memory foam, I read and bought into the hype of how much better latex is. The thing is, I don’t care if there is no off gassing or that the mattress lasts for years. I wanted a comfortable sleep and my spouse is a big guy, so I thought the latex would hold up.They never mentioned how bad this thing is at pressure relief. I used to be a side sleeper, with this mattress, the only way I can sleep is on my back. It’s too uncomfortable to side sleep, and if I try it, I have to turn over on my back again. It’s also way too bouncy. As soon as we move, I’m going back to a memory foam mattress and the 3k that was wasted on this mattress, I’ll take the blame for choosing this company and their crap product.

Foam Sweet Form, not a great experience

Thought I did a lot of research, and figured how can you go wrong with a configurable bed with regards to firmness, well I learned the hard way. First off, what you get is a zipper cover and couple layers of latex for a couple thousand dollars. I don't know what the material costs, the amount of workmanship is pretty minimal. Mattress in general a pain to deal with because of their size and weight, but this takes it to a whole new level because you're dealing with multiple separate pieces of large latex that does not compress easily, is extremely heavy, and if you think you're going to move the mattress as a mattress guess again. So when you want to move, replace the frame, sell, or anything else I don't even begin to fathom how to deal with this thing. It's bouncy, I mean really bouncy, like bouncy house bouncy. We've tried multiple different configurations but the result is the same. Which brings me to what I think is the biggest gotcha, the multiple configurations. After talking to FSF and explaining what had, what we like, our measurements, etc, we took it on their recommendation for the firmness of the four levels as they told us somewhere within these 4 different firmness’s most people will find their configuration. We like firm so we went there first but it wasn't quite firm enough and we contact them within the first couple months and they replaced a medium with a XXfirm because we already had a firm and Xfirm. They then told us to experiment with the different configurations and sleep on them for at least a couple weeks because it take a little time to know if it works. Makes sense, we'll give it a go. Went through 8 configurations sleeping on each for 3-6 weeks and we're still not happy, not getting a good sleep, and waking up sore. Contacted them to ask what we could do, and we're really looking to return and get something back for it but was told we were beyond out return time, sorry, and they're no longer responding to us.

This customer ordered his bed on January 4th, 2020, initiated a layer exchange on February 13th, and let us know on March 1st that he had “found the mix” with the firmer layer in his combination. It was not until December 20th that same year he asked to return his mattress. Our return policy allowed up to 120 days from the date purchased to return. He asked to return his mattress almost a full year from the purchase date. We were surprised since the last time we heard from him, he indicated he was happy with the new combination. He requested multiple times to return the mattress and we told him multiple times the mattress could not be returned but offered the option for him to purchase a new layer at half price. - Heidi Fischer, Office Manage at Foam Sweet Foam
