This was definitely the mattress I was looking for

Much lighter than my latex foam mattress was so getting it on the bed was pretty easy for one person (same with rotating it). The firmness was exactly what I was looking for, firm but not hard /w minimal sink in (often an issue with memory foam). As for temperature, definitely prefer it to other latex and memory foam beds I've slept it. Doesn't seem to overheat at all, comparable to a standard innerspring mattress. Very happy with the overall experience.

Great value

I researched every mattress I could online (as best I could without actually handling them in person) and settled on Douglas. It has been absolutely wonderful. It sounds like it is constructed to the same specs as the top-reviewed mattress in the US, but a great Canadian alternative for a much better price.

Douglas wins out in the side by side

Previously had a traditional mattress with a pillow top, was happy with it and it was in good condition and it was still pretty new, bought the Douglas mattress as part of an upgrade to king size to accommodate toddlers invading my space. The Douglas mattress felt a little weird at first, it's different from the traditional mattress, but I now take for granted that it's much more comfortable. I still have the traditional queen, now functioning as a guest bed, and I sleep on it from to time. I used to be really happy with the traditional mattress but now when I go back to it, it's unpleasant by comparison, the pressure points (which had never bothered me before) are noticeable after being spoiled with the Douglas mattress.

Best Bed Ever

See you later Sleep country! I bought a pocket coil mattress 7 years ago and didn't last. I'm not old or out of shape but felt that way each time I got out of bed from that mattress. I was skeptical buying a mattress on line and having no idea what I was getting myself into. So the mattress came and we put it on the frame. It was a way better fit in the frame. So we got on the bed and I was skeptical of the firmness. It was weird not to have "spring" when getting in. Nevertheless, I slept. I got used to the lack of spring and I have zero aches and pain and the motion control is fantastic. I just love it. I love the fact that they would take it back if need be but I'm sure glad I didn't have to return it. So glad I bought this.
