casper gets a bad rap

I tried a ton of mattresses and this one is BY FAR the most comfortable. Plush, yet supportive. It verges on being a little too soft, but for now it's just right. My worry is that I'll lose support over the course of the next year or so, but right now it's fine. The feel of the mattress is pretty unique. It's not a pillow top -- it has the feel or a very dense marshmallow. Very very pleasant to sleep on. I really like this mattress.

Greatest sleep comfort in years

Was very surprised that this product was so comfortable, we’ve had a $5k sleep number bed that was the worst mattress ever!

Racked my ribs

I couldn't decide which mattress to get since everything changed in the 13 years since I bought my last one. I liked the idea of 100 day trial so I wouldn't get stuck like I did when my last mattress was not what I wanted. I had tried the Casper in the store. I loved the Wave mattresses, but they were too pricey. I decided to give the hybrid a shot. It's not a good shot. The mattress just feels to firm for me. I don't feel the zone support that supposed to allow my shoulders and hips to sink. My ribs are sore most mornings when I wake up. I heard it takes 30 days for your body to adjust and I kept this for 90. I woke up this morning with sore ribs, again, and I've also had to get a hip injection because it hasn't helped. I would love to the softer NOVA Hybrid, but I don't think I'd get the same trial period and it is way too expensive. Oh well. Time to move on. But I'm impressed with the ability to return this mattress and not be stuck for another 13 years. This one cost about $500 more than my Serta set and this was the matress only.

good to start with, but only lasted 6 months

At first we thought this mattress was great. How ever, after 6 month, all the support is gone. My wife is in constant pain. I can't stand the lack of support. When both of us are on the bed, the mattress can't support us and we just roll into the middle. Very uncomfortable. The foam in this mattress is like that in running shoes. Only lasts for 6 months. As far as warranty - there is none. We called and emailed back an forth with Casper. The only remedy they could offer was that we should donate the mattress for a tax write off. Total BS! Don't EVER by a casper.

Favorite thing I own

My two favorite things that I have ever purchased are my car and this mattress. I love my bed and never want to leave it. It's my favorite place to be in my home, and would cry if anything ever happened to it.

Frame It

My mattress has no siding frame. You sit on edge on the long side of the mattress and it moves forward. The first morning that I had the mattress I fell out of the bed as the mattress had moved to the side. I get up several times a night. Surprise.

Very comfortable! Going to bed earlier due to comfort!

From information I had read online, I expected the Casper to be a lesser version of the TempraPedic mattress. (Which in no way, could I afford!!) Much to my delight I have found my Casper more comfortable! I had only tested the other mattress but found it much harder. I don't like mattresses that are too soft or too firm, so much like Goldie Locks and the Three Bears, I found my Casper, "JUST RIGHT". Also, being retired, I am on a very tight budget, and found the Casper affordable for the quality of mattress I really wanted, and desperately needed. I had a "pillow top" prior to my Casper and found myself sleeping in a "gutter" each night. My husband felt the same prior to his death. As you probably can tell, by my lengthy message, I am very happy with my mattress purchase. I plan to purchase another Casper for my guest room when I can afford to do so.

One Casper mattress last year has led to five now!

My wife and I needed to replace a mattress at our beach house and thought we'd try out a queen sized Casper mattress, thinking that if we didn't like it, we could always send it back. We talked with Elissa from Casper via telephone and she could not have been more personable or pleasant to work with and made our whole experience extremely easy! The mattress arrived within a few days and was easy to set up as we used our previous box spring as a foundation. After the first nights sleep, we were in love! Both of us slept very soundly and our dog did not want to get off of the bed in the morning! We immediately knew that we needed to replace our king sized mattress at our home with a Casper as well, and with another phone call to Elissa, that was easily taken care of. Early this year after one of our sons moved out of our house and took his bedroom furniture with him, we needed to replace his bed. My wife and I knew immediately that there would be no question as to the mattress! We called Elissa and she had all of our shipping and billing information easily at hand and remained just as sweet and pleasant to work with as with our first call AND she remembered working with us! After realizing that we also needed to replace another mattress at our beach house prior to this year's rental season, we ordered another king sized mattress from Casper but needed to delay it's delivery for a week until we would be there to accept it. No problem! Elissa was happy to comply and simply asked us what day we wanted it to arrive and made it happen. After installing that bed, my wife said "we need one in the bedroom that we sleep in here as well!" So.... we have now bought five Casper mattresses in the course of one year between our own home and the beach house that we rent out in the Outer Banks of North Carolina! Our rental agency that handles our beach house is excited to advertise that we have new Casper mattresses for our renters to sleep on, as they say that they always receive positive reviews on them!

Fantastic Bed, Amazing Sleep - No the BEST Sleep!

We came from a Tempurpedic mattress that we spent a TON of money on several years ago. To be fair, we thought then it was the best bed at the time. It was very nice, however, we were always too warm with it and the comfort we originally knew quickly waned. This new Casper has answered that call, never too warm, while living in a warm climate no less. Comfort is exceptional. My wife says it best, "I slept like the dead last night". Casper has been a great company to work with, highly recommended. I don't think there is a better mattress on the market. We shopped, and if you have been to one or more, avoiding the department or mattress store is a blessing.
