Excellent Mattress, Horrible Delivery Experience

The mattress is excellent in terms of how it feels. It will supposedly have a 20-year life. I'm not so sure about that, but the company stands behind their claim, so I figured it was worth the investment. My problem with this whole experience was in the delivery. The first delivery involved 2 inconsiderate men who left stains on the mattress and the foundation, as well as my stairway carpet. I complained to Zenhaven, and to their credit, they immediately issued an exchange. A few weeks later another delivery was made by 2 different guys from the same company. Although these guys did not soil my carpet or bedding, the mattress and foundation arrived damaged. I called Zenhaven about it, and the general manager, after viewing photos that I took, offered to again replace the items. The damage to the mattress involved stains from some sort of ink in the manufacturing process, and the ribbing on the side was unraveling in various places. The foundation made loud creaking noises. The 3rd delivery was made a few weeks later. (I started this whole process in July. By now September was well underway.) The 3rd delivery consisted of the same 2 delivery guys as the 2nd delivery, only this time they were careless on my stairs, dragging the boxed mattress up the stairs, leaving black greasy residue on the carpet, which is exactly what had happened back in July during the 1st delivery. The mattress had a black stain on one side and a brown stain on its satin tag, and the foundation, although much better than the previous one, also makes slight creaking noises that seem to be worsening as the days go by. My order total came to nearly $2,500 with the mattress, foundation, and frame, and I feel that for that kind of money there ought to have been much better quality control at the manufacturing facility, as well as a delivery company that practices the "white glove delivery" Zenhaven advertises on their website. I will likely be exchanging the foundation again, for the 4th time. What a fiasco this has been!
