A new low in bedding

The first review was obviously written by a Southerland employee because this is a truly awful mattress. Like the other reviewers, mine sunk in the middle within several weeks (I'm 190 pounds) and the exchanged mattress from my local store did the same. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this p.o.s. You're better off sleeping on your living room floor.

I agree we bought one and this is the worst bed ever!!! Ours sinks on both the left and right hand sides where my husband and I sleep. It's like a mountain with the center being the high point by at least a couple of inches!

This bed it not even worth thinking about purchasing. It sinks in the middle so badly you literally sink down into it yourself and then your stuck. The bed makes horrible noises when moving around or getting in and out of it. Do not buy you will quickly begin to regret your decision!!!

Love mine. We have 2 at our lake house for guests. Great comfort at a good price. We have the Charlotte line. Good support, has the gel in the top. We bought ours because we slept on one at a family members house over the holidays a few years back. Never had a problem and I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

I purchased a new bedroom set in Queenscreek, Az back in 2007, and this mattress surpassed one that I had purchased that was a lot more money, I give this set thumbs up, which is the elegance line. Anonymous

Worst bed ever slept on. 3 years old, sunk in, sore shoulders every morning because forced to sleep on sides because of a huge dip in this mattress. Matching box springs squeak every time we move.

I AGREE WORST BED EVER!!! My parents and I went together and each bought a Queen set. My parents mattress after only 15 months looks like what was described above a "mountain" my dad's side is probably 3" lower than my Mom's side. My mattress, I'm single so I sleep in the middle, has sunk in the middle so bad that it looks like an actual sinkhole and I only weigh 145 lbs. The boxsprings squeak so bad every time you roll over or get in/out of bed. I called and complained and was told that they had received a green shipment of wood so that is why it squeaks so bad. They offered to replace with another set but said that it would probably do that as well. I have been having problems with my shoulders and back terrible and I know it is from this mattress. Will never buy another Southland Mattress set again!!!

I have to agree. Worst mattress ever. Mine sunk in the middle after 1 1/2 WEEKS. Then to try and get a defective warranty guarantee forget it. It takes a magician to be able to get it. I am purchasing a new different brand in February even though my set is only 2 months old. Forget this brand all together.

worst mattress ive ever owned, same as yours, feels like im in a damn hammock. I sleep on the floor now. has over 1 1/2" of sag but by their warranty they wont cover it,they stuff the pillowtop so full that you cant see the trough that's in the bed, but you will literally roll into the hole when on it. their way of getting out of having to warranty an 800 dollar bed. crappy company ,,, crappy bed.
