I will never purchase any mattress again that has memory foam no matter the hype of "cool gel technology"...it just doesn't work! I need to get up 1-2x a night to let it cool off before I can get back to sleep on it again. My room temp is between 55-60 degrees & I'm still throwing the sheets off. I'm hoping Serta still makes a bed without this new technology?

We do sell mattresses without memory foam, but we do also want to make sure that you have sheets and a mattress protector made of breathable materials where you can get the full benefits of the Cool Action material. Serta
The mattress protector is the Dri Tec performance by Bedgear sold by the mattress company and my sheets are Royal Sateen 100% Egyptian Cotton.
R U going through menopause?
I was wondering the same thing. Donna C., how old are you?
I had the same problem and switched out to a THIN terry mattress pad. it is a little better. Not sure I will keep the bed. The first night I slepped in it I was drenched and NO it had nothing to do with menopause. Tonight is day 3 so we shal see.
I'm well done with menopause. Ended up trading for the firmest Stearns & Foster which still has the memory foam but it is buried several layers down. I also got a good bamboo mattress pad for its cooling properties.
Good input, thanks. Potential buyers
