Buyer Beware!! Trust the Bad reviews!

Same thing for us...first few weeks it was Amazing...then i noticed my butt sinking lower and lower. swapped sides with the wife, and hers was more firm then mine...enoyed that for a few weeks more...but not there are sink holes in the butt/sholder areas, causing sorness in my tailbone, which i never had...We kept the old bed as a guest bed...which is now my bed again.

We have the same issue with our icomfort bed. My husband is 200lbs and has the sink hole issue on his side of the bed. I am lighter, so don't notice it too much. We have rotated the mattress but that only helped for a week or two. We have had this bed 8 months and for the price it is terrible. We have contacted the store that we bought it from to see if we can get something done. After reading some of the reviews, I am worried about that. You would think that if a company is going to charge this much for a mattress they would stand behind their product.

Agreed! I hate this mattress for this reason alone. I am in more pain than ever. So very disappointed!

Same trouble , I wanted a firm mattress and I loved it for about six months ,now I have soft spots butt and shoulders. Furniture store stuck a plumb bob with a string on it no sag but put some pressure against it and it soft . Stupid the way they test it. What do we do? Tom

We have had outlet mattress for about a year. Same problem. Sinks in the middle and now it's starting to make my back and neck hurt. This mattress is horrible. Stay away from it.

I bought a serta I comfort. We have slept on a jamison mattress for 15 years finally was able to get a new one. Should have kept the old one. This I comfort mattress is killing my back. I can hardly move when I get up in the morning. Ican'tafford another one so I am stuck with this bed . Very dissappointed.

Icomfort Genius is going back after less then 40 nights. Could not sleep on it first few days due to smell, off-gassing. It still has not gone away completely. Worst part is how miserably hot this bed is. You will likely overheat unless you sleep with no top sheets or cover. This is worse than the regular latex foam mattress it replaced. If you get the adjustable base to watch tv or read before bedtime, you will preheat the bed which makes the temperature even worse. We live in No California and while it has been 90 daytime temp, our nights have been nice and cool, the bed is the problem. The bed is firm, but it's actually too firm and hurts my back and hips. The is no support in the lumbar area. I was told this model may get firmer since the is less cushion on top of a very firm layer. For what this cost, it was a poor purchase that I hope I can save someone from making. Adjustable base $1700 is not returnable and they discounted the mattress to around $1100, so not sure I will get a $1700 mattress as exchange. For $3000 including tax we expected much better!

Another bad review added to the list!! Husband and I bought this Oct 2012....started really feeling the "dip" where we slept about 4 months in... Hate the bed, and tried to consult with Sleep Country, and same story, unless visible to the naked eye, they will not do anything!! Hate my i comfort pillow top! Sleepys Salesman BS and mumble-jumbo talked my wife into it! Shame on us for listening to him. We had the mattress for about 90 days and it developed a sink hole. Serta replaced thinking that we may have gotten a lemon. New one has done the same thing. Contacting Serta again about a refund. I have developed a shoulder issue from the sinking. Sleepys told me that they just sell the mattresses and have done little to assist. I spoke with store manager and asked if they cared about their customers? His reply was that it is a warranty issues and needs to be taken up with Serta. Basically, we got your money, so tough! I will not be going back to Sleepys again.

Unfortunately I bought two sets in the spring of 2012 of the iComfort Genius mattresses, it was time to do two bedrooms. I weigh about 120 lbs. You guessed it, the mattress sunk in just a few months, I have rotated it, turned it over and now I sleep with plywood between the mattress and box spring. The store told me they are allowed to "sink" about an inch to an inch and half a year when I called back to discuss the problem with them. Well, in a few years where does that leave me? They also told me to take a picture and send it in with my complaint. Of course, nothing shows up in a picture. I told the salesperson to come out and lay down on the bed, that didn't happen. I am looking for new mattresses.

I'm here for the same reason. Serta mattress with sinkholes. Expensive mattress, too. Rotating does nothing. From other comments here, the "visible sinkhole" will be the problem. Very HOT to sleep on as well. What a POS. Will never buy Serta again.

Had this matters a short time very uncomfortable I sink into it can hardly turn over. Called on problem same thing a guy put a plumb bob on it and found not enough sag. He did however have the box springs replaced. Six months later same sagging sinking can't roll over problem. Called same guy inspected it the same way and found nothingness to replace. This mattress cost more than any mattresses we've bought in 45 hrs o f marriage. I thought it would last but it isnn't. I can't express our displeasure in strong enough terms. Another call to Serfs and I was told that I had to deal with the store where we bought tha mattress not Serta The store doesn't warranty the item Serta does. I'm not giving up until I get some satisfaction.

After all this, what bed did you people buy that is comfortable and DOES NOT SAG? I am looking and I am confused.

My husband and I bought an IComfort in September 2013. We used it for about a month ,we sweat like crazy and woke up every day with back aches. The manager of the store told us we could trade our mattress with a different IComfort , and the other would be disposed of. So we paid $14.00 to have it taken away, and another one was delivered. This mattress seamed better than the last one , then a couple months go by and we start sinking , and sweating like crazy . This mattress is a huge financial mistake and it makes our backs ache like crazy. Every morning I wake up feeling so tired, because all I do is toss and turn all night long . I wish that we would have read the reviews first . Now we our stuck with $3500 mistake !! I hate this mattress!! Gina 08/2014

I am looking for the same response like the July 18/14, what bed did people buy that is comfortable and does not sag?

I hate our I comfort bed. As in all the other cases, it has a sink hole where my shoulders and butt are. I put a string across it with weights on the ends and you can see it dips 3/4" or more in places. Of course when you lay down on the thing it is much, much more. I bought it because I have a very bad back, my husband had a good back. Now my back is worse and my husband has hip pain. I try to move out of the dip at night, but seem to roll right back to it. We are retired and don't want to put that kind of money out again. Does anyone know how deep the dip has to be visually for them to replace the mattress from "you know where"?

Mattress firm sold us our Prodigy I comfort. Sink holes that you can feel. Good news is you can't roll all over the bed because you're stuck. Speaking of being stuck that's what the warranty inspector is doing sticking it to us. Serta stinks, their warranty is a joke, and I'll never buy another product from them. $2700 mattress i'd rather sleep on the floor.

Yes! ugh, we have all the same complaints. We bought ours back in 2013 and it's just awful. It's so bad in fact, that I spent a chunk o' change a few months ago to buy a feather bed to go on top of it, hoping that it would help with the uncomfortableness - but the mattress is just so bad and has terrible sinkholes, that the featherbed just ends up distorted and sunken, not helping at all. and what bitter irony, to have the word "comfort" in their mattress' name....when clearly, a more apt name would be iDiscomfort. Serta owes us all a refund. This is not right.

The worst bed We ever purchased, It starts out feeling good and firm with just enough support ,but in a short amount of time it fails to support in an adaquate fashion.Forget about the Company backing their product for this problem.Serta would not return my phone calls. I think a class action lawsuit is in order. The problem is with the memory foam loosing its memory. Thefoam comes back it just offers no support in any areas where any weight was applied. Worst expensive piece of junk.

We just purchased the Icomfort insight a week ago, I have neck and back issues, thought it might help. This bed is hard like a rock, it only made my pain worse. went back to Rooms To go, told them we could not sleep on it, salesman said we had to keep it in our home for 30 days before we could change, this is our 3rd mattress from RTG, the others got dips in them after only a couple of months, they were serta westell and serta secluded oaks. I will never purchase anything else from RTG!!! Salesman suggested we buy a foam pad to make it better!! We are so disappointed in Serta and RTG. My husband and I are only135 and 110 lbs, we should not be having these issues with dips and etc.They got their money and we got ****** this is the worst bed we ever tried to sleep on. Its like going t a torture chamber to go to bed at nite, I dread going to bed. Any suggestions out there, We would just like to have our money back and go somewhere else.

great mattress.. for about 2 years.. now I have to seesaw to get out of the ravine in the center.. very expensive and very disappointing

My serta hybrid series is sinking,I am renting to own,I thought I was buying, a lifetime deal as i am looking at 20 more years to live,this bed cost had become a very big disappointment,its sagging ,I hear movement when I get up in night and lay back down.I know its sagging .I initially bought bed for my deterating back and hips.I so VERY disappointed....

I purchased a Serta Motion Perfect Adjustable Base from Mattress Firm on 3/2/2021. In the middle of the night all of sudden, my $1900 bed frame collapsed and threw me to the front of the bed and I landed on my back and injured my lower back and my left side.
