I had high hopes for this mattress

I did a lot of research before purchasing this mattress. We went to a mattress store and tried out a gamut of mattresses. Of course we loved the several thousand dollar mattresses, but they were out of our price range. I read great reviews on the Saatva mattress, including a convincing one from someone who regularly reviews and rates mattresses. He choose this mattress himself and had a blog on You Tube. My husband hated this mattress from the beginning. He has back pain and it made his pain worse. I didn't have too much trouble in the beginning, but after just a couple of years, the mattress is so uncomfortable that I do not get restful sleep at night. I'm exhausted all the time. What's worse, my mom was in the market for a new mattress around the same time. She also has back pain and ordered one too, based on the great reviews we read that promised to alleviate back pain. She can't even sleep in the bed now, it's so uncomfortable for her. Instead she sleeps in her recliner. We choose the medium bed, it's very soft. After a few months, we added a mattress topper to try and make it more comfortable but that too was a waste of money. Very unhappy with this mattress, which I feel I'm stuck with after paying over $1000.
