My husband’s bed is great, mine is not so great.

My husband and I have a split king. I always wondered how his mattress could be more comfortable than mine. It didn’t make sense. We have the same type of mattress. One day I decided to wash all of the coverings. This mattress has an zipper so that is not an unreasonable choice. After unzipping the mattress I found that mine was a manufacturer’s defect mattress. My husband’s is as expected. Mine has taped and glued over slices in the latex - right where I need proper support. I called the manufacturer on the label and they denied all knowledge. First, they said that they had not made my mattress. When I sent a photo of the tag showing their company as the maker, they said that they didn’t make mine when I bought it. In other words, buyer beware! If your mattress comes with a zipper, make sure to check for defects before accepting delivery. I paid over $3,000 for a second. I should have gone with Purple.
