After years of trying I finally convinced my husband to purchase a latex bed and to spend a little bit more money for a really good bed. I researched everything I could find i.e. online, blogs, reviews. I found LatexBliss at our local retailer, WG&R. I felt more comfortable purchasing locally than online and I like the idea of getting to lie down on the bed. It seemed comfortable with a topper on it. Although I know you can't tell if you like a mattress just by trying it out for 15 minutes. I asked for literature but they didn't have any. I called LatexBliss but no answer to phone calls so I emailed. Michelle returned my emails and gave some ILD numbers. We purchased the 3" topper for the Pamper model. We like firm with some cushioning. A week went by and I felt like I was bottoming out. The store took back the topper with a 10% penalty. Michelle from cust. service that they carry a higher ILD topper, our store couldn't get it. I ordered a very expensive topper online, it was way too soft and while sleeping my spine alignment was off. Now I don't know what to do. I feel like crying, I am in so much pain and I don't want to go to bed. It has been 3 weeks now. I can do a one time exchange at WG&R (after 30 days of sleeping on the bed, but I can't sleep on that mattress anymore so I have another week before I can even think about exchange) with a 10% penalty but cannot get money back. If I step up to next model (which I would like to do, perhaps with 2" topper)I have to pay the penalty and pay more money for the upgrade plus I don't get the great sale price. I really want a latex bed because of the longevity of the mattress and it's resilience. I know LatexBliss is a reputable company, I just don't know what I should do or how I can afford to take the loss. My old bed is gone so now I don't have anything else to sleep on and the stress of this is killing me. I have one more chance to choose the right bed from our local company and I am afraid to do it for fear I will choose the wrong one and be more miserable.

I would love to know how this customer's problems were resolved in greater detail. I empathize with her as I too fear buying an expensive bed that in the 15 minutes of testing allowed in a store seems wonderful, but after sleeping on it a full night turns into a torture chamber. While I understand why mattresses are not returnable (after all I know I don't want to buy a new bed that had been in someone elses home, even for a single night) I don't know how anyone is supposed to make a confident purchase after only laying on the mattress of choice for a few moments.

Leanne, The retailer either exchanged Jennifer's mattress or gave her her money back after we talked with them. Your question is important. Please spend ample time in a showroom selecting your mattress. A good mattress is a big investment and you will spend a third of your life on it. Most people spend more time test driving their car than they do their mattress. Additionally, if being able to return your mattress is important, consider purchasing from a retailer that allows you to return it. Kurt Ling President
Kurt got to this before I even got a chance to, he is that good. I did exchange my Latex Bliss (base model) for a Simmons Beautyrest TruEnergy, thanks to Kurt Ling. Kurt called the company where I purchased the Latex Bliss and was able to convince them to let me do an exchange. He went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. He tried to help me with my Latex Bliss bed issue before I ended up exchanging. I honestly believe had the store I purchased from had originally told me not to put a Latex Bliss topper on a new Latex Bliss mattress and to base our decision on purchasing on the mattress by itself without the topper we would have a Latex Bliss model, just not the base model- it is just too hard for our weight and age. When reselecting a mattress I could have chosen a higher end model of the Latex Bliss but the company I purchased from said you only get a one time reselect and I did a lot of research and lying on the beds before choosing and was not sure if the next model up in the Latex Bliss might be too soft for us. Kurt called me on the phone and helped me learn how to choose the correct mattress for our age and weight. I agree with Kurt, find a store that will let you do a refund or an exchange if you are not happy with it after a month or so. I understand you do need time to adjust to a new mattress and a couple days is not enough time. In the end I am very happy with the end result and I really have Latex Bliss and Kurt Ling to thank for that. Thanks Kurt and Latex Bliss!
