Serta Paula Deen Whitaker Sunset Memory Foam Mattress

We bought the Serta Paula Deen Whitaker Sunset Memory Foam mattress after trying it out in the store & loving it, & the price couldn't be beat. About two months into owning & sleeping on this mattress I noticed that my side of the bed was not springing back during the day, meaning there was a large dip where I sleep. I tried rolling more toward the middle of the bed where it was much firmer, only to find myself back in the "dip". We have turned the mattress around, but you can only do that so many times & with the way the bed is made, you can't flip it over. This mattress was purchased because both my Fiance & I have back problems. We thought the memory foam would be great for that, but it has only made things worse. Not only do I wake up with more aches & pains than the previous mattress, the pains last throughout the day. I guess you get what you pay for in the end.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. Normal body impressions can occur over time due to the nature of foams and fibers when exposed to body weight and temperature after consistent use. We recommend making sure that the box spring and bed frame are still up to par and providing proper support.

The mattress was purchased two years ago and started doing this two months in. I do expect wear under normal use, but I honestly expected it to last much longer. I had to move to the middle of the bed last night to get any sleep because that's the only area that offers any support anymore. The box spring & bed frame were purchased new when we bought the mattress.

Had mine for 4 years, it sucks! I fall into a hole and can't move. It's also very hot.
