DON'T Fall for the home show pitch!!!

I am usually one who does not make impulse purchases, especially $5000 ones. We saw this mattress at a home store and it felt great. Looking back, I now know why the salesman never lets you stay in one position for very long...always changing the base to different settings. They push the zero gravity setting...and that is one of the things that sold us. We were told sleeping in that position would alleviate back pain, blah, blah, blah. At the show, when he put the bed in that position, it felt great...but again, he didn't leave it in that position for more than a couple of minutes. The problem is, when you stay in that position for too long, it puts stress on your neck, and eventually your back as well. Just doesn't work. The biggest issue I have with this company is the blatant fraud. The sales rep told us that we didn't have to make a payment for a year, no interest, and if that we were unsatisfied we could get a refund and they would come get the mattress. So, after a couple of months and realizing the mistake, I emailed the company that I'd like a refund. The President of the company replied and said that is not the policy, instead the guarantee stated they would try to tweak the product to better suit our needs. The problem is, it is not really the mattress...we have no need for the adjustable base. Also, without the adjustable base, I would only get a regular king, not a split king. There are MANY mattresses out there for $1000 or less that are equivalent to this product. The guy at the showroom offered to sell us a queen in the same mattress without the adjustable base for $500!!! I replied to the president's email that the ONLY reason I agreed to purchase that day (of course if not I wouldn't be guaranteed that price) is because I was assured by the salesman that I could get a full refund if unsatisfied. I have yet to receive another reply from the company. Every time I get in this bed I am aggravated because I feel like I was duped. Don't make the same mistake I did!

We were also lied to by the Sales Rep "David" at a home show in New Jersey.. We were also told if we were unhappy they would pick up the bed and refund our money..We did not get either the bed we ordered or the sheets and Bonus sheet set we were promised... I feel we were victims of fraud and am in the process of waiting for their response..After this if not satisfied, I am getting in touch with my states consumer fraud division...
